Was the point of Cena's promo at the end of raw specifically designed to get us to forget about the rock and brock matches that some had begun to respect him for in order to get the fans to boo him?? I mean I know the WWE is playing up to the whole "He gets mixed reactions" so was that the point of the promo? Because if so , It worked perfectly.
I hope it was. I hope that that was designed to get people to boo Cena because if it wasn't , I don't even know what to say about it.

Next time, Cena should start off one of his comedy routines with "Thank you...take my wife, please!"

There's no way they specifically designed that promo in order to get Cena a mixed reaction. WWE was trying absolutely everything they could months ago to get a fifty-fifty reaction at Wrestlemania for Cena when he went up against Rock; they had him beat Brock Lesnar in his very first match back, likely in hopes that they could somehow make the fans see him as more of a badass in the process. Why would they throw that all away? If anything I guarantee that they wrote that promo specifically because they thought that it was a good babyface promo, or at least Vince thought so.
Tonight's promo was everything I hate about Cena rolled up into one appalling package: no selling; treating everything like it's a farce; telling awful joke after awful joke. Every single word he said made me want to reach into the television and sock him in the face just so he would stop acting an moronic man-child. In fact I actually was glad when Johnny smacked him across the face because it meant he actually shut up.
It's amazing that they can do a segment like the Big Show one earlier and then on the very same show one hour pretty much undo everything that they intended with that go-home segment.

Honestly, I see Cena just being a douche like that because his home life sucks and he's about to crack. I was really expecting Ace to ask cena how the divorce was going during the barrage of dumbass loser interruptions
and also I am ashamed of my hometown for not booing the shit out of that horrible segment.

I see that being a trend here soon.

If WWE was ever curious as to why a lot of adult male fans detest the Cena character -- tonight was case and point.
It's hilarious to me the lengths WWE will go to --and briefly succeed -- in getting the majority to feel sympathy/get behind this guy : The Rock humbling, the Lesnar assault, etc. Then John goes right out and does his usual terrible shtick and they're right back to square one.
WWE never learns it's lesson. It's kind of maddening.

Who are they appealing to?
He's acting like a 5 year old on a sugar rush, and then makes a lame pun on the world f***. Yet the company is also going out of it's way to remove the terms FU and STFU from their catalogue.
Just, huh?

I heard no booing. Hell, they even faded out Raw on some "Cena" chants.

Since January, Cena has had three chances to gain some depth, and have something else tacked onto his character. And here he is, still pulling the same stuff that he has since 2006.

Next time, Cena should start off one of his comedy routines with "Thank you...take my wife, please!" "I take her everywhere, but she keeps finding her way home." count me in among those wondering about Cena's BAC, by the way.

Cena got a crowd that didn't care for the majority of the show to really cheer for him.
Whether or not we liked it, that's at least something I can appreciate.

Well maybe your hometown shouldn't require each adult ticket purchasers to bring twelve kids with them. Seriously, I have never seen so many children in an audience for Raw. Did they have half priced tickets for kids under ten?

They gave huge reactions to Bryan and Punk, a pretty big reaction to Show during that whole ordeal, and appeared to be into the Orton/Sheamus brawl. Cena did get them more riled up than anything though, unfortunately.
