I'm sorry I had to hold in my laughter at that video, bunch of idiots crying over a bully "Crying?" they are cheering clapping and cheering anyone. They obviously werent crying,or sad the least, just seeking attention and popularity. Anyway,i think this is going a litte off topic, sorry.

Someone once told me about a trial they were a jury for where a man was being tried for murder. He was backed against an exit during a robbery and if I remember correctly, he used a weapon to kill the armed robber. Most people would call this self-defense but he was found guilty because there was no evidence that he tried to open the door (that he was backed up against) to escape.
Basically it's not self-defense unless you have absolutely no other way to escape being killed.

Everything that's wrong with everything. How is that, exactly?

While I think bullying is a terrible scourge of society, the world would be a much worse place if every victim had the legal right to kill their abuser. I'm not saying put a needle in this kid's arm, but at least probation/suspended sentence or something else light. Pretty much this, but I don't agree with giving him something light. He killed. I don't care what the circumstances that led to it were, at the end of the day he killed someone. Is it sad that he was bullied? Yes, but that does NOT give him a free pass to off his bullies. So he has to have at least a sentence of a few decades. A light sentence would be a slap on the wrist in my opinion. So in your world self defense deserves decades of prison time? Holy hell, wow.

Everything that's wrong with everything. How is that, exactly? "He never did anything wrong to anyone" For one.

"He never did anything wrong to anyone" For one. Ah. Okay. So, a comment made by someone who knew both Dylan and Jorge is everything that is wrong with everything. I see. Out of curiosity, did you know Dylan?

Again bullying is bad.... assault is worse... murder is worse than both. The bully was wrong. And premeditated murder is also wrong. The kid had a knife on him and im sure he wasn't planning on having steak at lunch. He made the concious decision to arm himself with a deadly weapon and put it in his mind that if the circumstances arose he would use it and then he used it 12 times and killed someone. If you think bullying is bad you probably should find murder to be at the very least comparably bad.

I'm not saying you can't! But to say that's enough of a reason to stab someone to death is ridiculous. You can say the same about a lot of regular attacks people pose on one another. A lot of things can be dangerous with enough force. Should he have waited to get punched in the back of the head some more, especially when there were two other guys the bully knew could jump in at any moment?

I don't think you understand the definition of it TBH.

And with the last few pages I think all that was going to be said has been said. We have entered a circular argument where both sides are snipping at the other. Regardless of the side of this argument that you might be on, someone died and we do not know 100% of every factor that went into this. Only those who were involved know.
But when the arguments get to the point of shock that people think one way, or calling other idiots for not seeing things your way its too far.
There was good arguments made by both sides, but in the end it has started to disengerate to the point were we are making commentary on memorial videos. Regardless of the which side that you think was in the right, or to what degree things should be taken we are still dealing with many people affected. When an argument turns into making comments about people who are meorilizing someone, like them or not, they felt some connection to that person.
Neither side is right, neither side is wrong. But taking snarky swipes at others arguments adds nothing.
