My dumbass and my brother wasted our money on The Spirit. We hadn't yet seen Sin City and that looked like it so that would be our substitute. Boy were we in for a terrible time. The movie was just flat out boring.
There are other bombs I saw, but I can't remember them now.

Scott Pilgrim. In fact I saw it TWICE in theatres. That's why it is the only bomb I remember even seeing in theatres.

Mentioned already in this thread; Iron Giant Scott Pilgrim Batman & Robin
The only one I can think of right now off the top of my head is The Thing (2011).

Okay, being that Batman & Robin is mentioned here, I am guilty of seeing it in theaters... and liking it back then. But I know better now.

Okay, being that Batman & Robin is mentioned here, I am guilty of seeing it in theaters... and liking it back then. But I know better now. I remember being extremely excited to see Godzilla back in 1998. The funny thing about that was that everybody had seen it in my immediate family before me (I don't remember why though) and avoided taking me to the theater when I wanted to see it. Then when the movie came out on VHS, I begged like a mad man to have it be rented and my dad begrudgingly did so. I even remember him saying to me, "This movie sucks. It's not even close to the original ones". I loved it the first time few times I saw it in fact. However, I saw it again for the first time in about 6 years two years ago and quickly discovered how god awful it is.

Sex Lives of the Potato Men.
I remember reading it made about 20 grand in cinemas and £7.50 of that was mine.

Batman and Robin isn't really a bomb, exactly. It didn't make its budget back fully in the US, but came close and made plenty overseas. Same with Battleship, Godzilla (not that it was in the US either), Green Lantern, Jumper, and some others. I did see (and love) Iron Giant, and enjoyed the crap out of Speed Racer.

I went to see Grindhouse, but after about a half hour I walked out on it.
Also, I really don't think you can call Batman & Robin a bomb. People tend to forget that it still made a ton of money.
