Anyone else watching the UEFA Super Cup? Barcelona and Sevilla are currently at 4-4 with a couple of minutes of normal time left. Extra time and then possibly penalties are coming. Great game. As the score line suggests, not the best night defensively but attacking wise, it's superb.

And extra time it is. Barca were 4-1 at one point.

And of course, after rumours saying that Pedro has asked to leave Barca, he scores the winner tonight.

Barca matched AC Milan's 5 Super Cup trophies after Pedro's winner and two brilliant free kick goals by the undisputed(I don't give a f*** what anyone says) BITW, Lionel Messi.
The only other club to win the UEFA Super Cup more than twice-Liverpool with 3.

I watched Yeovil v QPR in the League Cup instead of Barca v Sevilla....looks like I made a slight error of judgement!

Mourinho throwing his own staff under the bus linkYou can fit a ball under a bus, he needs to plug that gap when he's parking it.

Curious as to how people respond to the Friday match tomorrow.
It's a regular thing in Bundesliga and Serie A, but if they wanted, the EPL could try to make it a marquee thing like Sunday Night Football in the NFL and Hockey Night in Canada in the NHL on Saturdays.

I don't mind Friday football. Nothing else on TV.

Well it'll be a regular thing from next season so we'll have to get used to it.

After our somewhat fortunate victory on Tuesday over Nottingham Forest (even I don't think it was a penalty), I'm praying for Bournemouth or Reading away in the second round of the league cup. Something easy for me to get to!

Why are Leeds Utd always on TV? Ive seen more Leeds games than I have every other team combined the past few seasons. And they're in the second league. And they're shite.
