I'd love to see a Turtles Forever type Sonic special with all the different Sonics joining together to defeat the combined forces of the Eggmen/Robotniks.

The Robotnik of my dreams/internal Sonic canon is a mix of Sega and SatAM's. The Eggman look, with Jim Cummings's voice- a little goofy at times, but still a serious threat. So basically how Ian Flynn was writing him just before the reboot? Guy was practically The Joker with a cyborg army. |

So we're posting classic Sallys now? Ok.   While I do sort of ship them, I mostly like the chemistry of the friendship Sonic and Sal have. I do like Amy a lot, her and Sonic have a strong bond also, but I see her as a surrogate little sister. If Sonic MUST have romance, SonSal's the pairing I find more interesting. |

As much as I love SatAM's Robotnik and Cummings' voice for it (still counts as the first Saturday morning cartoon villain that ever really scared me, I think), we really did have an embarrassment of riches back then with Cummings and Baldry as the two very different Robotniks.
If you ain't down with Long John Baldry, then you ain't down with nothin'.
Now let him insult you for the next 20 minutes.

AOSTH needs more love as a whole, I don't get the hate for it. It had a fun Looney Tunesish atmosphere that balanced out SatAM's moody drama. It was AWESOME moody drama, but still.
Also, I get the circumstances behind it, but those Penders redesigns are hella uncanny valley. Especially the mouths, way too detailed. Ew.

You can't incorporate that into a good new Sonic game character? They're saving it for when they either make "Sonic the Fighters 2" or "Sonic Battle 2"...and have various Sonic characters spanning all incarnations duke it out. So yes, you could have them beat the crap out of Steroid Knuckles. |
