I'm doing the exact same and you're right. The combat is virtually broken and given that most enemies on the side quests just charge you anyway it just doesn't work. The graphics are not aging well (apart from wrex weridly) and lord the inventory is rubbish. That said I am having fun and the story is still quite compelling. About to do Noveria which was always my favourite part. Also if I hear any of the following phrases again: "I WILL DESTROY YOU!" "TAKE COVER" "YOU MUST DIE!" "WATCH OUT" "ENEMIES EVERYWHERE!" I will scream. me and my friend would randomly say THE ENEMY IS EVERYWHERE! for months after playing Mass Effect

Yeah Pokemon Gen 2 is so much better
When I played Blue last year if I didn't have Snorlax I would have made it far

Speaking of Gen 1, did anyone else know there was a (somewhat) LEGIT way to get Mew? And no, it had nothing to do with the strange truck. I know because I actually did it once, and then proceeded to lose the cart.
If I recall... After nugget bridge, there is a trainer that has Slowpokes. Avoid him. Wait until you learn fly, then return to him and fight / beat him. Immediately after beating him fly to the funeral city. Walk out the left exit and the very first step out of the city you take will trigger a battle and BAM. It's Mew.
After re-reading that, I feel like I'm missing some other steps... but I actually did it once and can verify it's existence.

I liked the first Saints Row game when it first came out because finally there was a GTA rip off that didn't suck. So after playing the fourth game last year I decided to play it again for the first time in almost 9 years and I really wished I hadn't. Because nowdays it feels like a absolute chore to play due to that god awful shitty respect system and by the time I got halfway though the game I gave up as I was so bored off my tits due to having to slog though all the tedious side activities in order to advance to the main missions.

Once in a while I'll go to one of these arcade type of restaurants and you will see all generations of games together.
Double Dragon is so clunky.

The biggest problem with Mew is of course that it has mimic and if it uses it and try to catch you get a ditto. I got Mew the old fashioned way... cheating. >_> My buddy had a game genie or action replay or... something for the Gameboy that worked.
