On the honorific side, maybe WWE can be an agent of change? I really doubt it. because this is so closely tied with rule breaking topics, It's hard to discuss in full.

I don't think anyone actually takes the "Womens Revolution" thing seriously. It's just clever marketing. It's the equivalent of the Spice Girls saying "Girl Power".

I wonder what New Jack thinks about this situation.

You can't just dismiss the fact WWE puffs themselves up and markets themselves with it by saying that nobody really believes in it, that doesn't change that WWE still says it and is trying to be perceived a certain way for it. The company might not be actively fighting on any kind of political or social level for something, but when they spend interviews talking about being at the forefront of social change and womens' sports, those statements are still being said.

The lack of women isn't the problem here. Hint: it rhymes with 'floor chimes'. Door mimes? Jokes aside, I genuinely don’t know what you mean.

Hard times are when a man has been on a job for 30 years, and they give him a gold watch and say a computer took your job. That's Hard Times!

“Every culture is different. Some treat women like property, not like humans. That doesn’t mean the culture is bad”. Yes it frickin’ does. The best answer Trips could have given was “Due to the rules of the host country, female performers are unable to make the trip. It is a decision we disagree with and will fight to change in the future. As compensation to our valued female performers, every woman on the roster will be paid the same as the Undertaker for the date and be given the weekend off.” Even that answer wouldn't be good enough, given the problems there. Whether it's just "the weekend off", whether it's the most logical payoff for this: "Every woman on the main roster gets paid as if they main evented the two house shows in Halifax/Saint John that we cancelled for Greatest Royal Rumble and get the weekend off", or even if it's "Every woman on the roster gets paid the same as Brock Lesnar for the date and gets the weekend off"- it won't count if the response would likely be "Even taking that would be getting blood money. I hope that payoff was worth selling your soul!" Really, it's hard when even a good payoff wouldn't be the right answer- and even for a lower payoff, the only "right" answer Trips would get from fans would maybe be "Due to the rules of the host country, female performers are unable to make the trip. In exchange to show how important our female performers are, WWE guarantees that the WWE will run a all-women's WWE Network special by the end of the third quarter 2018."

Makes sense to me, but then again I´m not a SJW. lol at anyone ever saying "I'm not a SJW" unironically. And no, this wasn't the perfect response. The only response to take given that this is already set in stone is to book a women's only PPV in the same vein in the US to give them an equal chance. Bring back Lita and Trish for singles matches with the new talent, use the NXT talent, have gimmick matches, put both titles on the line, introduce a women's tag championship at the event, etc. That's a response to this, not some bullshit "pushing social change!" crap with future fake aspirations that won't happen in the name of taking giant sums of cash from dictators.

Without women’s matches when will the audience get a chance to use the restroom?

Entertainers have been doing this for years. Playing private concerts for dictators is nothing new. It's the WWE's job to make a profit, not be womens rights activists. Sure but then don't present yourselves as womens' rights activists. That's the main issue people are chiming in with here. If you're going to do what's right for your business then fine, do that, but be aware of what those actions mean and don't puff yourself up to have it both ways. Businesses are there to make profits. As an entity, making a profit is WWE's goal. Presenting/marketing themselves in certain ways is all in the name of maximizing profits. "Puffing yourself up" is a business strategy, not women's rights' activist activity.

Without women’s matches when will the audience get a chance to use the restroom? I was gonna say "the Jinder Mahal match, as usual", but then I remembered that he's facing Jeff Hardy, I don't know now...ah screw it, during Jinder's match.

But if you market yourself in a certain way and want people to perceive you in that light, then actions that run counter to that can still be examined and criticized. Nobody is upset with WWE for not being the woke bae they always thought they were.
