Watched it this afternoon with my son. He's more of a Mario kid than a Sonic kid, but he enjoyed it a lot. It's certainly a fun romp, everything you'd expect from a Sonic movie, and a vintage Carrey performance.

Finally saw this, it was a fun little movie. Acting was good, story was pretty basic, and it was funny at times. For some reason I laughed uncontrollably at the turtle scene. I’m in for the eventual sequel.

The first movie was just a fun little romp that didn't take itself way too seriously. Hopefully that continues with the second movie. |

We know Tails is going to be in this one, but I’m just waiting for my boy Knuckles to show up. He'll show up at the end, so we can progress into Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Supposedly much of the actual on location shooting for the first film was done in about a month, with much of the film's making really being done via post production, (which is easier to do even even with quarantines) so they may figure they could do something similar for the sequel. |

The glowing red eyes had me convinced it was Metal Sonic In the UK, Metal Sonic's name was Metallix and he was god emperor of this massive cult of duplicates, so I thought at the time SatAm was going to adapt the "Brotherhood of Metallix" story since they were already using the time gems from Sonic CD |

Tragically, we were denied both: Knuckles was gonna debut in season three...if we ever got one. Thank goodness that fan comic/toon is still being worked on. |
