If you care enough to call him a homophob for that, you probably don´t get any because you would be a hysterical little complainer...btw I am just explaining it to you. Not calling you any names. What in the bloody f*** are you even talking about anymore? Do you need a fainting couch? Do you have the vapors? Dude I came in, made a joke, obviously everyone got triggered. I got pissed wtf do you want from me? A fainting couch? The vapors? Are you a normal person or do you usually talk this way lol. Nothing dude, I resign from this thread. Have fun

For the question of "How hard is it to just say sorry?"
It's not. The problem is the people that want an apology were most likely never fans of Kevin Hart to begin with and never will be.
Whereas the fans that are spending their money supporting Hart. Will feel like he wussed out and gave into pressure. So they'll be a little less likely to go see him live next time he comes into town.
When you take politics and morals out and look at it simply from a marketing perspective. Apologizing would be a net loss.

I doubt it; those that would do that are the smallest percentage of people possible. Most fans of his aren't gonna care one way or another. It would have been a nothing story if he offered even a half sincere mea culpa. Not even saying he should have to, just from a branding standpoint it woulda been easier just to do it and go on. There wouldn't be these massive droves of fans that would stop supporting him if he did, just like there won't be now.

And it's not like Kevin Hart is some underground edgy comic who only plays in dingy comedy clubs with maybe a couple of bigger theater shows a year. This dude regularly sells out entire arenas and makes millions upon millions of dollars from movies and other revenue streams. He's one of the most profitable entertainers in the world. Any fans who would actually stop going to his shows because he offered an apology for old jokes well, first of all they'd be idiots. And second of all, they're the smallest drop in the bucket and I doubt Hart would care at all.

Digging deep to drum up Oscar ratings this year. Are you suggesting it’s a werk (bruthur) Just that I don’t care to dig deep enough to find out. Hart doesn’t seem to be hiding his past, academy nod seemed to be almost simultaneous with him saying “thanks, no thanks”. Boring f***ing broadcast looking for a boost.

Hey, watch this. I'm sorry. It's not that goddamn hard. Zero sympathy. Almost three days and seven pages later, this point still stands. This wasn't a James Gunn situation where some aggrieved party pushed the issue until he was pushed out. All he had to do was apologize, and he ended up apologizing anyway. In the words of my generation, by way of DJ Khaled: congratulations, Kev, you played yourself.

To me, it kinda sounds like the Oscars didn't want to fight for Hart hosting the show.
I don't know, I don't *get* apologizing for a comedy routine, especially an old comedy routine. Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all saying "Don't be offended" or anything, but I just think if we start equating an act with how somebody actually feels as a person, it's a slippery slope.

It was a combination, the act and a lot of tweets. So personal and professional.
