It was solid for the second straight year. This time, for the ending.
I will agree with some posters on that it ran a bit too long with lots of dead time like last year. Maybe an idea could be to shorten the time in between new entrants to 60 seconds?

I enjoyed it. Natalya was only there to anchor the match, get people out of the way when space was needed for big spots, make the NXT girls look good, I can’t think of any other veteran woman who could’ve filled that role.

The issue is just that there aren't really enough rumble spots to have two rumbles in the same night. At least have the agents talk to each other so they don't do the same hiding under the ring spot in each rumble.
Women's rumble was fine and the men's rumble was fine, just nothing that was hugely exciting.

There have been a bunch of men's Rumble matches that were bad and I wasn't over the concept.
The Women's Rumble was really good and showcased a lot of the future. The crowd didn't know the names because people like Xia Li or Kacy Catanzaro aren't that known by casual audiences. They could have spaced things out better but it wasn't bad at all.

I'm over the concept of a 70 minute plus Rumble where nothing of note happens for more than half of it.

I actually liked the woman’s rumble more than the men’s.

Also, Toni Storm was in Phoenix... I wonder why they didn't use her? I was thinking they wanted to protect her, but Pete Dunne was in the men's match, and other than a few things, he didn't do a whole load.

I really don't understand watching both Rumble's and it being the women's that felt disappointing or lackluster. The women did the most they could with it, storylines progressed, callbacks occurred, new people were highlighted, silly shenanigans took place, and there was a genuine feel good moment with the winner. Plus, they managed not to bring Ronda out to take the spotlight this time. Win.

Shrug. I thought the Women's Rumble was better overall. Told multiple stories, introduced new up and coming women to the masses, and was overall more memorable. Besides Rollins winning I struggle to remember much of the men's Rumble. Honestly the writing team needs to find a balance between telling good stories for both divisions.

It's like a number of Rumbles, tbh. The first chunk is boring as hell until you get the stars in there. Battle Royals are pretty hard to do well and the reason why the Rumble has gained the reputation it has is because it's very star-power driven and features lots of storyline spots that set up future angles/builds off past angles. A lot of the action in these matches are...well, bad.
The first half of this match was pretty boring but goddamn, if that wasn't one of the all-time great finishing sequences.

I could get on board with the Women's Rumble being it's own PPV, like Evolution. It's gotta happen before Mania, though.
Otherwise, keep it as is. Just space them out better and tinker with the entrance numbers.

Growing pains.
I’m with you, there was some bad execution (yo, that Maria/Alicia segment dragged out way too long) and some missed opportunities, but it was fine overall
Plus, it’s only the second year, and the first without the crutch of “nostalgia” pops. I give ‘em props for leaning on the now rather than the past.

I thought it was horrible for the first 2/3 of it and then really picked up at the end. It was sort of a middling rumble for me. But a lot of the problems were pretty fixable and not indicative of this concept being a failure. I don't think the sloppiness or mistiming was due to them being women, it was just poor planning. Don't do that horrible Maria/Fox spot. Don't have someone like Kacy try to show off her stuff with Alicia (seeing a common thread). Spread the stars out and allow title challengers to just enter the match like they have in past years. Give more shine to the up and comers. Kairi could have done a ton more in the time she had. It should also get better each year as the NXT brands both get more shine (someone like Rhea Ripley should have more name recognition in future years).

I think I’m over the men’s Rumble concept. Too over the top? But both feet didn't touch, so it doesn't count.

It could have been timed out better, but that’s really the only thing I had a problem with. I loved seeing some of the future stars show up and have a chance to get their name out there.
And I vehemently disagree that the crowd was dead. They got tired as it went on, but I remember being shocked and stoked with how much of a reaction people like the IIconics were getting early on for their entrances. WWE has done a really fine job of improving the stock of people like the Riott Squad, Mandy, and Sonya from where they were in last year’s Rumble. As things go, they’re only going to have more and more women’s wrestlers that people are fully invested in, and eventually, unfortunately, some of these people are going to be left out.

I enjoyed seeing some of the NXT women, who I haven't had much time to watch before. It was far better than them trotting out Kelly Kelly, Torrie Wilson and Ivory. The intrigue of seeing Rhea Ripley and Kacy Catanzaro, Io Shirai and Xia Li and what they could do was worth the match, even without the drama of the climax.
I flat out guarantee that all those women, and more, made new fans last night.
Yes, it was a bit too long, and there were some dead spots, but those were minor issues, and I think those lulls set the crowd up for the excitement of Becky coming in as a surprise entrant and winning.

I feel the exact opposite. The Men's Rumble was the worst booked of the night. It had 2 WWE Legends who went entirely wasted(Kurt Angle,Matt Hardy). If they got injured and were replaced with say Zack Ryder and Heath Slater would their booking be any different,ie enter hot and hit your signature moves then randomly get eliminated 3-4 minutes later in a total non event. Then you had Local Man Corbin and Local Cricket Man Drew McIntyre eliminate several men. And despite the good respectable showing for some NXT guy's(Dunne,Black and Garango) they were all eliminated by Local Men Raw Heel's and none of them really had much charecter work to showcase if they were gonna be intigrated to the main roster. Meanwhile on the Women's side the NXT people (Candice,Lacey,Nikki,Kairi,Kacy Catanzaro,Io and Rhea Ripley) were all put over and set up to where they could be credibly intigrated as important member's of the roster on either Raw or Smackdown asap. Even the 1 women's wrestler who got Buschwhackerered(Liv Morgan) still factored into the Rumble. I think the women as far as having enough credible workers is behind the men,but I will take a 30 person rumble where almost everyone is booked to matter and or get's some good charecter spots over what was the men's rumble which may have been loaded with talent but had multiple Local Men,no Iron Man and a third of the field being unimportant jobbers

They should quit the "over the TOP rope" rule for the women.
Most of the time the women are pushed off the apron instead of getting tossed, it looks like that infamous sellig of Eva Marie.
