I hope Steph ended her talent speech before the PPV saying to those 8 men in the ladder match to "have fun & grab that brass ring"

Between all the botches , the absoloute f***ery of endless WTF endings and then Brock. Lastnight was a special brand of WWE falling off the cliff. I am almost lookin forward to tonight because there is a high chance it only gets worse tonight It was actually a great show.

So next year, when Primo does a shoot run-in and is all "Vince says I'm winning, it's a surprise bro" and grabs the briefcase, does everybody just roll with it?

I wish on everything Ali did a shoot and just grabbed the case as soon as that music hit. Flip brock off and run into the crowd with the case.

That's legitimately some late stage WCW shit.

Should I reward my workers and elevate one of them, or should I work the boys? How did that work for Eric Bischoff again? I'm sure it'll be fine. Thanks Pal, I'm doing a great job! I feel like this should be a reaction pic when stuff like this happens again.

Working the boys is stupid. Some guys have a bad habit of talking to the dirt sheets, but it's still stupid.
Granted, I am skeptical. An 8th man coming in, what are the odds he wouldn't be winning? I do have some doubts they wouldn't *know* it'd be the winner, even if they wouldn't know who it'd be.

WWE going to WWE WCW.
that’s some Russo/Bischoff nonsense. They have zero goddamn clue.
regardless, glad that I don’t waste my time with this bullshit anymore.

F***ing stupid, especially given everyone knew Lesnar would be showing up in the next week or two anyway to collect his cut of the blood money.

What is it going to take for the talent to universally revolt and all just walk on the WWE minutes before TV airs? The money isn't going to be much left going for it if this continues to be the norm for this company.
I'm not even that big of a fan of the roster in AEW, but good lord I hope they roflstomp them in ratings out the gate when they go live on TNT...

It was a bad, lazy finish and any heat WWE gets for it is 10000% deserved.
Like...dude. How long can you rely on the Lesnar crutch? It's been four years since Suplex City. f***ing enough, haha.

Brock and the WWE are getting a ton of heat for this but I think that was the point. It’s sure got people talking.

There was a shot of Orton looking angrily at the ring as Lesnar celebrated. I now understand why.

I wouldn’t say that at all. AEW could be great but it could also be as popular as Lucha Underground for all we know. They haven’t even run a show yet. AEW will need to attract more than the typical WWE viewer to be a real competitor. Wrestling is not considered cool in the mainstream at the moment so it won’t be that easy for them to do that.

Not sure about record lows, but there is sure to be a sharp drop tonight with hours 2 and 3, as the Warriors bid to close out Portland starts at 9:00 eastern. It should also be noted that last week's RAW, although taped, went unopposed by the NBA Playoffs.

There are a very few glimpses of promise inside of WWE's product, but the rest of WWE is devolving into Dixie Carter's fiasco in TNA.
WWE is unraveling into TNA right before our very eyes as we speak.
It's becoming a Dixie Carter-esque trainwreck.
