That’s WCW levels of not making people aware of what’s going on before time to work everyone and thus it feels absolutely unbelievable.
Which, in turn, makes it utterly believable.

Should I reward my workers and elevate one of them, or should I work the boys? How did that work for Eric Bischoff again? I'm sure it'll be fine. Thanks Pal, I'm doing a great job!

Well, at the very least, they were all told before the actual match that "mystery man #8" was going to win, and the 7 men there knew "I'm not going to win" all along. So they weren't duped in any major way. I'm sure even Ali knew the old axiom of "plans change in booking, even up until the last minute" so even he was able to shake off his highly-rumored win that wasn't.

Between all the botches , the absoloute f***ery of endless WTF endings and then Brock.
Lastnight was a special brand of WWE falling off the cliff.
I am almost lookin forward to tonight because there is a high chance it only gets worse tonight

I don't really see the problem if they don't want it leaked. It does not really change much of the match.

They were told there was going to be a spot where he was getting shoved off the top of the ladder. That doesn't mean they were told that Lesnar was winning tho. That could happen and said guy could still lose the match. What happens a good amount of the time is at the end of the match the ref lets the wrestlers know what the finish is and they do it. In this case they had no idea Lesnar was coming out and the fact he was winning it. So from their perspective they only knew Ali would be thrown off the ladder. Also given the amount of time the others were down there was ample time for any of them to still climb up and get the briefcase too.

I was responding to the quoted poster saying they were told Ali would win. They weren't. I just have trouble with the idea that none of them compared notes and had it figured that if none of them were told they were winning before the match, they were in for some f***ery.

Yes, good, work your employees, keep that shit a secret, have them all die for the secret twist of all their suffering being to elevate Brock Lesnar. This is how you keep your already bitter and pissed off wrestlers wanting to resign with you.

This time around Brock better decisively lose. Roman won from interference the first time, the Rollins match, Seth did look strong but he still won via low blow. Who would they even give the Brock rub to this time? Roman again?

I just have trouble with the idea that none of them compared notes and had it figured that if none of them were told they were winning before the match, they were in for some f***ery. That doesn't surprise me because there's been other superstars who were told they were winning a match midway in the match itself. Sometimes guys go into matches not knowing the winner until the last few mins. It's weird but that's what Vince does sometimes. Let alone a ladder match. This is one of the most dangerous matches you can have and you don't even know the winner? Ali and camera guys were hurt due to this guy. That's silly.

Before you go out you get given a speech about how WWE is a great place to work because the locker room's combined social media accounts have a billion followers, and then you get to murder yourself in a clusterf*** ladder match just so you get to find out while lying broken on the floor that Brock Lesnar can walk down to the ring and win the match without letting out a single drop of sweat, but he manages to still injure someone in the f***ing process. It sounds too sad and overblown to be true
