Not sure why it sticks out,but love Becky Lynch calling Rousey (I think) a little weirdo. Realistic, belittling and delivered perfectly

I don't remember which promo but the one where Dean Ambrose told Cena something like he's only playing the part of John Cena these days.

Bobby Fish telling Karrion Kross and Scarlett “Go play Halloween somewhere else, goofs!” killed me.

Edge calling the audience big fat failure turtles. I remember a lot of people dunking on that line, but seriously, "failure turtle" is one of the best phrases I have ever heard in wrestling.

I wanted Ambrose vs. Cena so badly after those Talking Smack promos they cut on each other. Ambrose was one of the few guys who could take it to Cena on the mic.

Stephanie McMahon extends her hand to C.M. Punk. Punk: "No thanks. I know where that hand's been."

Stephanie McMahon extends her hand to C.M. Punk. Punk: "No thanks. I know where that hand's been." Stephanie would get her revenge by DESTROYING Punk after his UFC debut. They're in Chicago, Steph starts the show, crowd of course starts the "CM PUNK!" chant. Steph lets them chant and then unleashes... "You keep that up for 55 more seconds, you'll have lasted longer than Punk did." The crowd didn't even boo, they just groaned in total defeat to that burn.

"Hey Dracula, you fat bastard." - Hardcore Holly to Gangrel, Raw 1999 I think it was actually "Hey Count Chocula, get your fat ass on the scale"

Any time Heenan or King went after Stu & Helen Hart was gold. "How many kids do they have?" Gorilla: "Twelve, I believe" "Ah, one of each"

It may have been "cheap heat," but Elias' line about the Sonics in Seattle has also gotta be up there. I LOVE that stuff though because the fans genuinely seem to get angry about it. Even as a guy from the U.K. who has basic knowledge of US Sport I realise that. The only way it comes off as cheap is when someone who isn’t over or is terrible on the mic tries to do it. Also falls flat if you try and do it in the U.K. unless you REALLY know your audience. Slagging off Man U in Manchester for example will get you a lot of cheers because people come from all over the U.K. to see these shows and Manchester has more than one team. Sheamus in Scotland nailed it with his cheap heat on the Scottish team because he gets it.

I stand corrected. I've misremembered that for years.

I think it was actually "Hey Count Chocula, get your fat ass on the scale" Nah, unless it happened another time Holly called him Dracula. You might be thinking of the RR99 sign in the crowd: "Gangrel fears Count Chocula". More off color was when he called someone in the Brood "Karen Carpenter." Wince-worthy then, still the same.

The Rock concerts in Toronto & Sacramento were filled with gems. “Oh he said Toronto! That’s where we live!” “The best thing about being in Sacramento is in about 30 mins the Rock gets to LEAVE Sacramento!” Rocky was on fire in 03 with the heel promos. I love his interaction with Hurricane, calling him Hamburglar, asking him if he's gonna throw a mcnugget at The Rock, or hit him in the head with a cheeseburger. Then after looking completely sincere, shaking his hand and telling him to bring his best, he just decks poor Hurricane. Tremendous but also hilarious heel work. along those lines when rock and hurricane were argueing over whether the hurricane or the scorpion king was the better hero the hurricane won saying "BRANDON FRASIER beat the scorpion king." leaving the rock to start screaming how it was just a computer generated image. then as the hurricane "flies" off the rock looks dejectedly at the ground and mutters "..it was a computer generated image"

I always loved whenever Stone Cold Steve Austin was in an irate mood. I love the night after Kane beat him for the title and he’s trying to bully his way to a rematch. Vince says it’s ok with him if it’s ok with Paul Bearer and Austin just goes “What about it fatass? What’s it gonna be? Spit out the damn cupcake and start talkin!!!!”
