My twin brother (who has more "severe" Autism than me so was able to get it through the GP) is fully vaccinated and by this Sunday, my parents will be fully vaccinated too.
I, however, am waiting for the appointment opportunity to open up because this country is both on the ball and super slow about it.

Got my second dose few days ago.
Was lucky. As I am a PWD, like the seniors I more or less got prioritized in line, and time I spent on vaccination area was barely an hour long including the wait period.
On the other hand, sibling wasn't as lucky. It was a different area that we're not familiar with, so I volunteered to accompany sibling and wait for them. To balance out the ease of me getting the vaccine, I ended up waiting close to six hours in the heat.

Is there any one here who had side effects after their first pfizer shot other than a sore arm? I just got my first one at a local cvs yesterday. Last night all I had was a sore arm but today i have aches and a low grade fever. I also have no other conditions other than having had covid early march. Everyone I know at work who had been vacinated only had a sore arm after their first dose and didnt feel like crap until after the second if at all. I had a massive headache (though I do get headaches when the weather drastically changes which it did the day I got my shot, but this headache just felt different so I blamed Pfizer), slight nausea, and a sore arm. Whoever gave me my shot was genius though because I got it in my left arm and I sleep on my left side, but I never laid on the spot I got my shot. She did a great job. A week later I got a bruise on the exact spot where I got my shot, and it itched for a few days after

And just as I talk about being delayed, Ireland's said they'll open up the vaccine applications for 30-34 year olds at the end of next week so yay.
My sister's boyfriend got his appointment for Monday too so double yay.

And because this thread is turning into "one Irish family's vaccine journey", my sister's boyfriend got his delayed until today, my sister is getting hers on Sunday (on her Birthday) and I just got registered to get one at some point in the future.
Regardless, I will be the only person by Sunday in my entire immediate family to not even be partially vaccinated yet.

I got mine Wayback in April and early May. I got Moderna flavor. And it was kind of weird with me because everyone said that the second shot would mess you up worse than the first one, but ironically to me the first one was harder. After the first shot my arm felt like it had been hit with a sledgehammer for about a week, the second one but I was sore for about two or three days and I felt a little tired and achy for just a day and then I felt perfectly fine. But getting vaccinated now is worth it because it means I can go on my vacation at the end of this month. I’m actually going to Las Vegas on 7/30 and I’m super excited!

Nearly 3 months after being vaccinated, and I still don't have the One for All quirk.
I guess I'll never become the next Symbol of Peace.

Was able to reschedule my second shot for yesterday and now I am full vaxxed.
Pfizer for the first and Moderna for the second so I guess I'm now part Chimera. Yeah I could have held out for more Pfizer, but I just wanted to get this over with sooner rather than later so I can enjoy what's left of the Summer.
The side effects haven't hit me too hard, just a fair amount of muscle stiffness and joint pain that made it really hard to get sleep last night, but that might have also been due to the fact a humid front has parked itself right in my neck of the woods.

Warms my heart to see how many people are getting vaxxed in this thread. Sincerely. Delta Variant is no joke here in the states. Glad we're all making the right move and staying safe.

This second shot is beating me up hard. I went to bed with a small case of the chills and woke up with stiffness, upset stomach and a slight fever.

Being in Korea is making it harder, since you need to sign up for an appointment with your online bank account details, which I didn't have. So, I went to the bank this morning, got them and still not having any luck. Wouldn't be so bad, but they've put in a strict time limit for tomorrow to make appointments.

I went fully 5G on Monday, I wasn't actually scheduled until the 28th but there was a walk-in near my place so I went there. The worst part of both doses was a sore left arm for two days afterwards, although I spent all of Tuesday absolutely knackered, but that may have been due to a) the heat, and b) waking up every five minutes on Monday night because I had rolled onto my arm and woke up in agony.
Got to say, it's a huge relief getting it all done. Perhaps I should get my vaccine card framed.

Getting my second dose of Pfizer tomorrow which is great and I had a very sore upper arm that night and the next day but didn’t get the chills or that feeling of tiredness which some got. Hopefully I’ll be lucky again and won’t feel awful after this one.
