I think it was less about The Bella's being over, and more "They are less than part timers, Nikki has well documented neck issues, and they just dominated the Rumble and tossed out a bunch of girls who are there every week", which to be fair isn't a Bellas problem, it's a "WWE cares only for the past" problem They threw out one full timer in Liv. Their other two eliminations were Logan and Alicia. Current rumor is that they're challenging Carmella and Zelina for the women's tag titles too so... if that takes place, my comment stands.

Are they even gonna address who Lesnar took #30 from? Did they ever address who Reigns took it from in 2017? Doubt they will here either. The funny thing is, there was a justification for Roman entering in 2017, as they did air a segment where Mick vowed to make things right after Roman got screwed over in his Universal title match earlier in the show. If they had done that this time around, everyone would have immediately called the Rumble for Brock (hell, I even predicted Brock was going to win before the show started just because I figured they would circle back to that match).

Dakota Kai was seemingly pretty bummed on social media last night as well. Going by everything, I'm assuming Dakota was told they wouldn't need her for the Rumble on Thursday, thus her message on her Discord, she goes to work the Smackdown dark match with Io the next day, where both her & Io were probably told that they would be needed for the Rumble, they go there only to do nothing but watch backstage as roughly half of the Women's Rumble consisted of part-timers and NXT got completely snubbed. That would bum anyone out. I'm really trying to figure out what the f*** they're waiting for here. Raquel, Dakota, and Io are spinning their wheels in an NXT 2.0 that is quickly becoming a place they're fitting in less and less. Again I get veteran hands for the now greener than goose shit regime of girls taking over down there, but these three have been in NXT for years now, and it made sense when they were the "Competing third brand". With HHH seemingly gone from power forever and the "Third Brand" thing dead as they quickly turn back the clock to the days of FCW yore... it's getting more and more noticable when people like a Shirai aren't being used outide of a... *checks notes* Tiffany Stratton match and womens tag tourney partner storyline. This isn't just a women's problem, it's on the mens too with the likes of Ciampa, Dunne, WALTER, but the WWE women are A WASTELAND right now, only made worse by Ronda Rousey's sudden return. It's Horsewomen, Rousey, and like... that's it, and it doesn't seem to matter to them that their rosters are so depleted that they have no realistic challengers for the women's tag belts, so much so THE BELLAS might be the Mania Opponents... This is a mess, and it's gonna continue to me one imo until the talent's deals come to a head, because it feels like WWE has no intention on using the women HHH pegged for success with how bad their rosters currently are that they can't buy a damn callup... and the worst part is? With the February earnings report coming up, everyone's bracing for another cut storm... and I can't imagine if any more women are involved with how shot the rosters already are.

If they’re going to get a Mania match then it makes even more sense they’d be booked well in the Rumble.

If they win the belts, is this gonna be another full-time run defending the things? Or is it gonna be win the belts to check off a bucket list and lose them or vacate them straight away?

By the way, at least you guys don't have to watch these Rumbles again, I'm having to for the points rankings...

Women’s one is all done. That involved a lot of backend setup and link work with the spreadsheets because of all the entrants that hadn’t worked a match this year… or a few years.
Men’s one is looking surprisingly easy in that regard, because everyone but Knoxville, Bad Bunny and Shane have already worked matches this year.

Given WWE’s recent tendency to leak “rumors” to the media to make themselves look better in situations that have received fan backlash, I don’t even believe that for a zeptosecond. Why make so many allusions to something that Rey had made clear he wasn’t going to do? Who knows. Maybe his mum dying made Vince sour on a parental fight - maybe Rey said yes, then said no later - maybe the equally alleged story of Theory/Shane getting a match made Vince decide he didnt want two parental issues thing going on. Current WWE is a cluster, everything could be lies or true at any given moment I've heard this rumor for a long time, actually, it didn't just pop up for the Rumble. WWE's been trying to do the Rey/Dom turn for at least a year and they don't want to go that route yet. I feel like Rey's trying to wait for it to be legit his last match before he works with Dom. Otherwise there's this weird limbo for him afterwards and he needs to protect his character, too.
