Nia's weight had nothing to do with how she was acting in that Charlotte match. Like, that was an attitude problem. Also her weight didn't stop her from dropping Charlotte on her head that one time. She's got the strength to lift her, she dropped her because she's either bad in the ring or she just didn't care enough about protecting Charlotte and doing it right which is, well, being bad in the ring. I actually can't think of any injury she's given other women that involved her weight. When I think "Nia Jax injuring people," I always think of those buckle bombs she did. That had zilch to do with her weight.

Carrying excessive weight can cause injuries in ways besides just landing on people. You absolutely can injure an opponent executing a move if your cardio isn't up to snuff.
Again, the weight was likely A factor in Nia's oafishness, not THE factor.

Both of us are speculating equally, so I'll say it's 100% possible that she was too gassed to keep carrying her and dropped her prematurely. Or some combination of being gassed and not giving enough of a shit to keep going. Seriously, I can't believe "bad cardio can potentially make you clumsy" is actually getting pushback.

That happened 2 minutes into the match. Nia did 6 moves prior to that one. The full match is at the below link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdNC18rLoPAThat's one reason why I just can't agree with your response. Yeah, we can all have different opinions but it just ain't matching up here. Kairi is like 115 pounds and Nia was absolutely not gassed. Her weight just didn't matter here. It would be a different story if they had a long match and Nia did a ton of moves and Kairi was like 250 but Kairi's got the weight of a 7th grader and Nia was fine.

Yes, Nia is stupid and selfish, facts that I openly acknowledged when I first brought her up.

Remember when that fat oaf Owen Hart broke Steve Austin's neck because he wouldn't lose weight?

Remember when that fat oaf Owen Hart broke Steve Austin's neck because he wouldn't lose weight? Yeah, if I had said, "The only reason anyone ever injures anybody else is because they're fat," then that might actually qualify as a "gotcha."

Yeah, if I had said, "The only reason anyone ever injures anybody else is because they're fat," then that might actually qualify as a "gotcha." You have however been saying "Heavy people are more likely to injure someone" without like any merit or justification to it whatsoever, and like tripled down on that stance despite everyone saying otherwise, so there's that.

Not heavy people, per se--out-of-shape people.

I thought he did well for a big lad who has had a nasty illness for months. Yes, he looked bigger but that will come off as he gets back into training, etc. For the sake of his knees, basically.

I mean it’s likely good advice for most people to lose weight if they’re overweight, especially if they’re getting over heart issues, are getting older and are in an athletic endeavor as a profession. I assume he’s been seeing doctors about his heart issues so I’m sure he’s aware of what he needs to do though. And I’m sure the prolonged illness itself has a lot to do with him having gained weight over that time period.

Dude what is in the water on the AEW Board today? Lmfao, these threads have gotten nuts... Seriously dude. Between this and the other thread where it's six pages of grown adults sobbing over a line that someone said in a pre-taped promo... sheesh. Its getting difficult to log in in here and try to interact with people.

The problem with Nia Jax was the fat in her head, not anywhere else.

I want to see the numbers of people injured by someone "out of shape" and those injured by people "in shape" because I can guarantee the numbers will back up a lack of causation or even correlation. That's ignoring the fact the Nia was probably in better shape than any of us.
Her problem was never her size, hell Nyla is similar in size and has been very safe outside of one accident that wasn't really her fault. Nia was rushed out of NXT before she could be polished and never recovered. Plus the fact she was more worried about trolling fans about the injuries she caused rather than ask herself if there was issues on her end that led to those injuries.
