I’ll admit I thought it last night, Lee wrestling without the signet really did show that he’d gained a fair bit of weight since leaving WWE. Not that he looked bad or worked bad but it was noticeable.



Maybe now he’s back in the ring he can work on getting back into ring shape?

Keith was always on the heavy side. Give him sometime and he'll be back to where he was. He just got married and was off for 3 months and he nearly died from heart disease. Man's been through a lot

I noticed he seemed to be slightly faster and more agile in WWE but that's about it. He had Covid, he's recovered, he's just returned, he'll be fine, we just need to give him like 2-3 months and he'll be good.

It’s insane. And testament to him as an athlete but for prosperity’s sake he should bring down the weight as much as possible. He’s naturally a big guy already and no spring chicken.

Yeah, pretty much. I’m not going to rag on a guy looking a bit heavier after everything even if I get the intention. Heck, I’d not have him on TV for a little bit to help him with that but like you said, he’ll be fine now he’s back in the swing of things.

Yeah, If he gets down to his NXT weight and maybe slightly lighter, he'd be OK. He's got the benefit of being so thick that he'll look bigger than 90% of the roster anyways. It's just that time where random tears and pulls might start happening with the weight he's carrying.

He's like Mark Henry in that regard: He's so muscle-bound that there's little flab on his body. But given that he's so muscle-bound, it's also deceptive of how much excess fat he really has. A lot. Hopefully he gets his heart regularly checked.
That said, it's impressive that his timing wasn't off despite wrestling heavier than he's familiar with.

Anyway, I thought Lee being heavier made his leapfrogs and springboards even more impressive, but I do agree that being at that weight at his age is gonna lead to more injuries and whatnot. As a heavy guy myself I get how tough weight management is, and I'm pretty sure wrestling regularly again will see him trim down a bit (and will help his cardio).

Being blunt, we attribute strict body standards to just Vince but the reality is it’s become so ingrained in the fan base as a whole, it’s kinda scary.

There’s no real way to phrase this in a manner that isn’t classless when you consider the situation and it feels just as nasty from Meltzer as it would from the random internet troll.

Maybe a tad, but not too much. Him being this huge and being able to do what he does is what helps him stand out. Of course he could lose a few pounds, but nothing too drastic.

He's big but I wouldn't say he looked grossly overweight or anything.

He looked fine and imposing to me.

A "jacked up Keith Lee" doesn't really speak to me.
