You may want to give context. Because I can't wrap my head around how an image of Holocaust denier and general conspiracy theorist Brian Kendrick applies here. "I said it was fair game for discussion" = The "I'm just asking questions" defense. That poster is using the same tactics conspiracy theorists use when called out on insensitive comments with no real basis in reality, like the triple-downing and quadruple-downing on fatphobia in this thread by slightly changing the wording with each response. That’s really not comparable to what the poster’s saying at all, nor should attacking posters be allowed, especially to this extent.

It’s a message board about a niche interest. People are here to discuss big picture things and the minutiae as well. No reason to bash posters. In at least this threads instance, the poster in question seemed perfectly fine with bashing heavy wrestlers and for absolutely no reason The IIconics, so... I don't think they exactly helped matters. I was referring more to the “six pages of grown adults sobbing” comment about the Statlander topic. But again there’s a difference between bashing wrestlers on TV (which doesn’t even seem like he was necessarily “bashing” Lee here, except stating an opinion on a topic that might not be true) and bashing the actual posters that are discussing things on the board. Comment on the post, not the poster should be one of the top “rules” on a forum (and I’m sure I’ve slipped a few times in following that rule too).

Okay, it's a visual medium; so why isn't his look an acceptable visual? I mean, as an aside, WWE wouldn't have gone out of their way to have EVOLVE offer him a developmental contract at a time when he was still known as "the other half of Pretty Boy Killers" if there wasn't, like, some intention to sign him as is. Yes, I know, HHH was doing a lot of this stuff but Vince still had to approve it, right? Like, people can't say he has control over everything and not know where his money is going at this point.

Also, EoE sort of made the point clear 5 hours ago so no idea why it's being dragged up again.
But I'll say again to drop it and it'll be the last time.

Seriously dude. Between this and the other thread where it's six pages of grown adults sobbing over a line that someone said in a pre-taped promo... sheesh. Its getting difficult to log in in here and try to interact with people. It’s a message board about a niche interest. People are here to discuss big picture things and the minutiae as well. No reason to bash posters. Completely true but it makes it different when grown men are getting their real life feelings hurt over a fake TV show. Sorry but it's true.

Some of whom were real-life adoptees who found the comment hit a little close to home. It doesn't cost anything to show a little empathy to someone while still disagreeing with them.

Although the only insight on that side I've seen in this thread are saying they were fine with it. You might want to look again. There were two posters who said that it hit too close to home for them, including one who posted probably a dozen times in the thread.
