Flair and Hogan both seem to be in that 50/50 territory.
Randy Savage always seems to get a pass despite all the stories about how he treated Elizabeth.
Every story I’ve heard about Punk says he’s a dick but he’s still held in high regard.
Bruiser Brody was very problematic, but that is often overlooked because of the tragic and senseless nature of his death.

Since he's had matches, including a win earlier this month, does Vince McMahon count?

Hogan, Vince, and Flair definitely do not get passes lol. Savage I agree with though.

Austin to a degree, despite the Debra issue. He has made backstage calls but I think most people think they were the right decisions.
Sadly there's some people who still do this with Benoit too.
Basically if fans think you were a great worker, the better the chance you have to be forgiven for things IRL.

I'm positive he's an assclown and has donated to some things I disagree with very strongly and I think he believes in some wacky, wacky, wacky shit, but I couldn't say he's a horrible human being.

It's a mixed bag. Granted, it's like that with most people, people are rarely angels or cartoon villains, but Jericho really is a sack full of skittles and cigarette butts.

Bruiser Brody definitely gets a pass because of his murder. He did a lot of shady things to make sure he gets his way and he'd bully fellow wrestlers and stiff them if the promotion didn't curtail to him. He unforunately ran into someone who had an ax to grind in PR

As a non-smoker, the thought of eating a Skittle that was mixed in with dogends has made me throw up in my mouth a little.

He unforunately ran into someone who had an ax to grind in PR I do think some of it is the murder, and some of it is also that the main people he threw his weight around with was promoters, and generally, f*** promoters. Definitely doesn't mean I don't 100 percent sympathize with why Luger got the hell out of the cage and didn't roll the dice with him, or any other person who had issues with Brody.

Andre the Giant comes to mind. Seems like half the stories you hear about him are either him taking liberties with guys he didn't like and roughing them up or his hatred for any other big guys and bullying them. Maybe not the worst guy, but seems like he was a douche

Even the wrestlers who are the worst and scummiest will always have some level of support from their biggest fans, ie. Flair, but in general the majority of wrestling fans aren't giving them passes or over looking their actions. I also think we have to differentiate between being a horrible human, being an a^%hole, being a dick and having done something wrong but at least apologizing and acknowledging the wrong/s they did.

Eh...Unless they're extreme in nature (Drake Younger/Sarah Rowe/etc.), a person's political stance doesn't necessarily make them a bad person...
The only ones I can think of have been mentioned (Hogan/Flair)..

I do admit that Punk seems like he's mellowed considerably since coming to AEW and settled nicely into a backstage elder statesman sort of role, at least based on the vast majority of reports from other talent that've come out since then. The main lingering thing that people are still quick to judge him about does seem to be the beef with Colt. While I'd love to see them patch it up and reconcile as much as anybody, I also feel like there's far too many wrestling fans that think they know the Punk/Cabana relationship better than they do.
Is cropping Colt out of group photos petty as hell? Has Punk had a reputation for being enough of a self-described straight edge sociopathic asshole to put it on a t-shirt? For sure, but people change, only Punk and Colt know exactly what went down between the two of them, and I think it's unfair to Punk to judge his current demeanor entirely based off the Cabana thing.

Maybe not the worst guy, but seems like he was a douche I think some of it is dampened by people acknowledging he could be a jerk sometimes, which usually ties into the second reason, his chronic health problems. It's easier to give a guy a pass whose life could often be miserable, with a body breaking down in a world built too small for him. Still, some of it is also just people giving him more of a pass than they would others due to charisma, yeah.

The British Bulldogs (especially Dynamite Kid) seemed like legit bullies and douchbags, but somehow get a pass from some fans because of their work in Japan.
