Sami did Broken Skull Sessions in that same Propaghandi shirt. That's his thinking shirt.

Sami is right on the money with this one. Back in 2014, the story was Daniel Bryan getting screwed over and cast aside by The Authority from SummerSlam 2013 through the Royal Rumble. It was a natural progression for him to enter the Royal Rumble and win it. That's why the fans were so behind him, and opposed to literally everyone else. It also didn't help that, in the fans' eyes, Batista was coming back for a quick payday and WrestleMania main event that he didn't really deserve. Compare that to this year. Yes, Sami Zayn challenging Roman Reigns for the championship at WrestleMania does make sense, but so too does him getting excommunicated from The Bloodline and calling on Kevin Owens for help, as that's really the story they've been telling for the better part of the last five months. Also, Cody Rhodes has a lot more goodwill with the fans and his story since returning to the WWE last year has been, "I'm here to win the championship that my father never won and fulfill our family legacy." Hell, even if The Rock returns and wins the Royal Rumble, it works. He's defending the Samoan wrestling family tree from Roman Reigns, it's a fight over who is the true Head of the Table, and it's been hinted at on- and off-screen for a few years now. I wouldn't like it, but there's at least logic behind it. The fans won't turn on Cody Rhodes if he wins the Rumble. The Bloodline story has enough gas left in the tank and enough goodwill with the fans that I can envision them trusting the process, provided Sami Zayn's story gets the ending it deserves.
