Every day here I'm reminded of how differently I view this stuff than a lot of people. Isn't it amazing? It gets to the point where I wondering if there's something wrong with me for not being so wound up or bothered by the product. Why is it now that whenever somebody thinks something on WWE programming is stupid or ridiculous, they're "bothered" by it or what have you? I'm not about to lose any sleep over it, but I still think it's stupid. It's a shame. The last few years have seen the Wrestlecrap board do a complete 180 from it's whole purpose. Nobody is allowed to so much as say "that was dumb" anymore without being shouted down.

Personally, I think the skits suck too. I shout people down when they DO go overboard.

Everyone has the right to their opinions. My issue with it is the individuals who consistently find fault with the product and yet still watch the product. At some point, you have to ask yourself, 'if I don't like what I see, then why the hell do I bother watching it?'. It's almost like they think it's gonna change soon. Well, bad news for those folks, it's not. The only time the WWE changed their direction was in 1997 when they were getting their asses handed to them by WCW and they were losing money. They don't have that problem anymore. They can continue to put out the same product and there's nobody out there that can compete with them and force them to reconsider their direction. And no, TNA isn't competition considering their flagship show doesn't even get the same ratings as WWE's C-show. And while the ratings aren't as good as they were in 1999, they're certainly still better than they were in their worst days. There's TONS of stuff the WWE does that I think is dumb. But I don't talk about it. Why? Because it'll never change. And most importantly, would it make things any better if I post about the things that I don't like? Will it make me sleep better at night if I get it off my chest and let everyone read about the things I don't like? Hell, do I even think people are interested in my opinions on the things I don't like? The answer to all of the questions is a resounding no. Saying you don't like something is fine with me for the sake of a discussion like this thread. But trying to come off as some sort as self-imposing martyr to draw attention to yourself crosses the line. And there are people who cross that line here each and every day, knowingly or not.
