Okay, since everybody on here was disapointed that it turned out to be Vince McMahon, who should've been the Higher Power instead? I think Ted Dibiase would be a good candidate for some reason. Who do you think?

Jake Roberts. He had a connection to both Taker and Austin.

He's a wrestling GOD we should turn this thread into a thread inserting JBL into every possible angle and talking about what would happen

Wow I was thinking Ted too... It was the only real thing that made sense for a higher power. He was the million dollar man so he has the power in money and he also managed Steve. If anyone it would be him, Vince, or in a strange event Bischoff or even Dusty.

Depends on what school of thought you go with. If you went with a guy making his debut, Jericho would've been good. If you wanted to give someone already there a new gimmick, maybe Goldust. If we're going for a name from the past, definitely Jake the Snake.

You know, if he hadn't died, Pillman would've worked great too.
But by real-world and continuity standards, Jake was the best choice.

I really didn't mind it being Vince McMahon, but I would have preferred Jake Roberts or Ted DeBiase.

Jake Roberts. He had a connection to both Taker and Austin. Give this man a cigar, Jake Roberts would of been best.

I would've had Austin try to attack the Higher Power, only to get attacked by the Ministry. Then they'd hold his arms, allowing the Higher Power to plant him with a familiar move--the DDT. He then unmasks as Roberts and cuts a promo. He would explain that his run as a Christian was merely a ruse designed to create, in his words, "a chaos bringer"--Austin. By "creating" Austin (by becoming his victim), Roberts introduced chaos into the WWF. He knew that Austin's rise would cause Vince to take action, bringing the two sides into conflict and leaving the company ripe for takeover. And while Taker had opposed him in the past by succumbing to a false sense of morality, he had now come back to his dark ways (and to Jake). It could've been a huge dialectic web that connected every angle in the WWF.
