*Vince and Bruce Pritchard are at a meeting with an NBC executive about the TV rights for Saturday Night's Main Event*
NBC: Twenty bucks.
Bruce: Twenty bucks?!? Are you out of your mind?
NBC: Well, take it or leave it.
Bruce: Take it or leave it!? We got Hulk Hogan here...Hulk Hogan!!
Ron: Now what the hell do I care about Hulk Hogan. I'd just rather here you sing "Real American". *Heh heh heh*
Vince: [In Bruce's ear] This guy's nothin' but a piece of crap.
Bruce: You are nothing but a piece of crap.
NBC: Pardon me?
Vince: [In Bruce's ear] A piece of crap.
Bruce: A piece of crap.
Vince: [In Bruce's ear] I find you extremely ugly.
Bruce: I find you extremely ugly.
NBC: Do you?
Vince: [In Bruce's ear] You emit a foul and unpleasant odor.
Bruce: You emit a foul and unpleasant odor.
NBC: Oh, is that right?
Vince: [In Bruce's ear] I loathe you.
Bruce: I LOATHE you!
Ron: That's it. Get out of my office!
Vince: [In Bruce's ear] Make us, pal.
Bruce: Make us, pal!
NBC: Oh, I'll make you!
*NBC exec chases both of them out of his office*

There was one year when gaming magazines received a few edicts from WWE regarding screenshots being included in reviews of one of their games. One of them was that they weren't allowed to show Trips in a compromised (defenseless or vulnerable) position. How insecure are you that you can't even stand seeing yourself lose in a video game? One magazine reviewed the game and showed Triple H being attacked by Kane (I believe). Never forget that Triple H was in full control of NXT when Bill DeMott was brought back and put in charge of injuring, abusing and persecuting a generation of stars, with talent who complained to management being hung out to dry and released. He wants to take credit for everything good that happens in NXT under his watch, yet there's no responsibility taken for the bullying and harassment that happened prior to DeMott being ousted. Like father (in law), like son (in law).

I agree, but I think the media made a bigger deal about Janet's nipple than most people did. I was still living in Southeast TX when that happened. Lots of the local churches were freaking out. I am sure if I had been in the area of MS I am in now I would have seen lots of people freaking out over it. Gotta remember from when it started on TV until the show ended no ABC affiliate in MS carried NYPD Blue. The only way to see it was be lucky enough to live near the state line and get an ABC from out of state. Or go to one of the many bars that had a satellite and would have NYPD Blue Tuesdays. It's odd,now I am mid 40s so I grew up in the late 70s and 80s. My parents had no issue with me seeing some nudity in a film but would rather I not see extreme violence and gore. Where as most of my friends parents were the opposite. They would let their kids rent stuff like Faces of Death, but if the film had even a smidge of nudity they weren't allowed to watch it. I never knew that about Mississippi, but I never watched NYPD Blue. It aired in my area, but never saw it.

What I have never understood is shows like CSI and NCIS can show levels of gore and blood that if they were in a movie the MPAA would give it an R or NC 17. But they get aired in prime time on over the air channels. And I rarely see anyone commenting on how much gore and blood there was on shows. But Janet's nipple is on screen for what 1/3rd of a second and half the US freaks out. I agree, but I think the media made a bigger deal about Janet's nipple than most people did.

Did his old back up group return for it? I don't think so. Their 'Behind The Music' doc was pretty vengeful and bizarre.

Imagine telling someone watching WrestleMania 7 that in 20 years, over half of them (18) will be dead.
Imagine telling someone that Thunderlips will be the greatest champion in wrestling history.

I heard it was gonna be Austin himself, so I'd LOVE to see how that storyline would have played out.

Because I am being forced to. In a dungeon. Please help me. I don't know why this is being done to me. I am literally tied to a chair in a tiny room and forced to watch Raw and Smackdown on a weekly basis. For the love of God save me!

This is a wrestling forum. If you are gonna put a Kraftwerk song on here, do it justice:
BTW, I'm surprised no one mentioned a certain car commercial jingle:

But the big question is, will it still be accessible on a TRS-80? But the big question is, will it still be accessible on a TRS-80? Nope but it will work on a Vic-20. It still works fine on my Commodore 64. I'll show you. I'll put up Hulk Hogan vs. Randy 'Macho Man' Savage from MSG.

I always thought that Letterman mocked wrestling, so I'd figure that he'd decline when asked.

True, it was a tried and true method. Guessing they determined Louie's act was family-friendly enough. Almost surprised Paula Poundstone didn't get a kid's show, though that's perhaps for the best. She was on Science Court, if that counts.

Gordon Solie. That nasal sounding voice and dull tone he talked in had him sounding like he was about to fall asleep at anytime. I can't stand the way he pronounces 'suplex'. It's su-plex, not su-play.
