A TALE OF TWO SISTERS is pretty badass in it's own right....but I agree with the influential effect of RINGU entirely. And you can add such craptastic American remakes as SHUTTER and PULSE to the list. Talking about A Tale of Two Sisters it's being remade as " The Uninvited" and will most likely suck as almost all remakes do. Also on another note the original Pulse was awesome and made me really sad in a way no movie really effected me in a way that only Requiem for a Dream did. Truly an amazing movie, although not scary per say.

This
I don't hate TNA at all and don't want to see WWE buy TNA but it would be hilarious and definitely put the salt on the wound on many, many people which would make me laugh.

One Missed Call (aka Chakushin Ari) From director Takashi Miike (Audition, Ichi the Killer) One Missed Call was a movie I questioned on seeing ever mostly due to the terrible American remake and well the premise is a little stupid honestly I mean Cell Phones killing people is a hard sell, but due to massive creepy feel, this movie works and has some real scares to it. The plot is basically you get a phone call from someone minutes before they die, but the twist is that it's your number and it's you in the future being killed by a vengeful ghost. Sure that could sound a little cheesy but the ring tone in the movie simultaneously creeped and sad because it is so somber of a tune and the darkness that Miike takes in this movie is perfect and the acting is very good and gives a sense of doom over the precedings thus making it a very good movie, although not as good as Ringu or Ju-On it still definately one of the better J-Horror movies *** Indiana Jones and The Kindom of the Crystal Skull Oh man where do I start? Well I have to say this is one of the worst action movies I've ever seen and if it wasn't for The Mummy 3 this would have been the worst summer movie of the year. It's amazing Spielberg botched this so bad really I thought he had more sense than this. To start with the plot okay, Russians are scouring the globe for artifacts they believe could be used to make psychic wepons to conqueror the world. Jones and his maybe son discover the Crystal skull of El Dorado which actually an "aliens" skull, it has psychic properties and in a lot of elaborate and stupid action scenes they get it back from the Russians and bring it back to El Dorado, and than the "aliens" gives a gift to Cate Blancett character unadultatred truth and she disappears and the "aliens" go back to where they come from which is an inter-dimenion. Yep this movie was pretty bad and not to mention the CGI gophers, Indy being saved by a snake, the boring story of Marion coming back and turning into a lame family struggle and John Hurt's horrible character who is utterly insane than is back to normal when they return the skull, oh yeah and inter-dimensional beings, aliens would have been passable but that was god-awful . I have so much utter hate for this movie it is aggravating. I give this the lowest ranking I can give to this movie! 1/4*/4 [REC] Out of the three movies that I have last seen this is probaly the best. REC is the story of a female TV reporter doing a interest piece on local firefighters, the start is kind of slow and boring but needed to establish the characters of the movie. The firefighters get a call to help someone in an apartment building needs help and Angela and her cameraman go with and soon they realize something bad is happening as they are told the building their in is quarantined and are trapped there and as the old woman bites people and they get infected with some sort of disease that turns people into mindless beasts. And all the horror is all being documented It would be too easy to say REC is Cloverfield with Zombies, it's much more than that. The directors of this movie really do a good job at making you feel like you are in there and it's just utterly terrifying, you feel their pain and the hopelessness that the characters endure as one by one they become infected with some sort of super-rabies. I couldn't imagine anyone not being scared of this movie and everything in the movie is utterly plausible well except the religious sub plot but other than that it was just amazing totally a must see! ****/4

I fully support a new midcard title! I've been calling for this for about two years and finally their doing this. I mean people who have gotten too big for the X or tag titles have floundered because they aren't known enough to get world title shots but can't go back to the X title or tag titles so yes good idea!

another that should be added to the list is Montell Vontavious Porter. I mean the seeds for this are already in place HHH talked crap about him not getting the job done at all at Unforgiven, than a few weeks ago on Smackdown HHH and MVP had an awesome match where MVP looked amazing and looked like he was very close to actually beating HHH. Plus WWE needs to have real heels on Smackdown and really except for Big Show, Edge (could be turning face) and Vladimir Koslov (generic foreign heel) who is there really that could challenge HHH?

Patrick Stewarts version is the one to beat. that was good but I think the best one was the one with Gregory Peck and honestly Moby Dick isn't my favorite book at all but it's still a classic and all same thing would go if they ruined Sun Also Rises with Jason Biggs and Lindsey Lohan as Jack and Brett directed by Uwe Boll.

It appears as Russian director Timur Bekmambetov will be making a movie based off of Herman Melville's classic novel. I'll let slashfilm talk for me as I am so enraged by this that I can't write anything coherent.

Yeah the writers of New York Minute and the director of Wanted, sure this will be a good movie.

I say they should make him a Dirk Diggler rip-off, with his video being the name Dolph Ziggler in neon blowing up and have him scam on chicks in the back, like Layla and stuff. Than maybe I'd care about him.

how those names really, really suck. I mean what is up with WWE and names their giving to wrestlers lately? It's look they've given up and just playing madlibs with the names.

I think Lakeview Terrace trailer looks awesome and has very unintentionally funny lines by Samuel L. Jackson. But I bet the film will be really, really terrible.

I might be wrong but wasn't this game suppose to be released on the Sega Dreamcast? I thought it was going to be a launch title, but that might be utterly incorrect.

Either Finding Nemo or Cars.
I really found Nemo to be really annoying to me I mean the story isn't bad, although very formulaic but the presentation is horrid. I mean It's bad enough having the voice of Albert Brooks I could deal with that, but adding Ellen Degeneres makes it really painful and it seemed to drag alot and repeat dialogue a lot which got very tiresome and none of the characters were all that interesting.
On the other hand you have Cars which is a paint by the numbers movie whose plot is ripped from any racing/sports movie ever made about the brash rookie who was to learn respect and can't do everything by himself. The only saving grace in this movie is the one scene where their talking about how the mega highways killed small towns and put businesses out and the voice acting carrying the medicore script especially by Owen Wilson and Paul Newman.
I guess in the end I'll say Finding Nemo because with all the hype it got was totally undeserving to me and I can't think of a single memorable line and just remember being bored to death and annoyed.

Yikes! Hope he makes a really speedy recovery. Nobody wants that. By the way, I hope all of those people who cheered Cena's injury were happy that he got a serious injury and could possibly be worst. That was the lowpoint of last night's RAW. Yeah i definitely agree to that. Plus over the last year Cena has actually gotten alot better and has actually impressed me. It sucks people have to act like idiots and cheer a mans misery when he is desperately trying to get better to entertain them.

It's funny how general concensous can change how people think of something though. Batman Begins and Superman Returns both made about the same amount of money (infact world wide Superman made $20m more). Batman Begins is thought of as a success and WB was quick to green light The Dark Knight. Superman Returns is thought of as a disapointment and WB is hesitant on it. Superman did have a bigger budget, BUT a lot of it's budget was from the previous start and stops of making Superman movies (like Burton's, McG's, etc). This is just a comment on how perception can change things. It did good initially mainly due to the fact that people wanted a new Superman movie. But many people hated what WB gave us the sulky emo Superman that did barely anything was not what most people wanted. I honestly thought it was at best it was really adequate up to the part with Lex creating a new continent threatening to destroy much of North America, Superbaby, and Superman lifting a continent made out of Kryptonite and throwing it into space. I mean come on that's ridiculous.
