probably something that's best used rarely, if a company did at least one per show they'd have to start charging less for tickets due to the actual show being shorter.
you just know someone would sue eventually over not getting to see "star x" live because they were in the taped cinematic match, and could stand a good chance of winning if the appearance isnt advertised as being in a pre-taped match.

Apologies if this was brought up but I noticed when I search a common word (for example: Scott D'Amore), I noticed that the *newest* search gets stuck in June/July 2023. Has it been always like that? I'm asking because I'm sure there were mentions post that month, even when D'Amore was let go from TNA. the search function has a long history of being borked. nothing the mods can do to sort it.

"a wizard did it" pretty much the only option that hasn't been discussed about the death of wcw at this point. "Let's see what was airing the same time during the Monday Night Wars that wasn't Wrestling..." " Dark Angel Sabrina the Teenage Witch killed wcw!" it was revenge for all the wrestlers randomly turning up.

I didn't know DAZN did aew ppv's until "all in" last year, looked at trying to buy that ppv via them until I saw how stupidly set up it was and gave up and went through youtube to buy it.

the marvels problem was it wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible either. disney seem to be in a bit of a panic with marvel tv shows at the moment because a couple of shows didn't hit the viewing figure numbers they expected and seem to be trying to keep things in a holding pattern to get things back on track in their mind. while I dont see them giving any marvel shows the willow series treatment (full on removal) they probably are a bit more wary of trying new things. Haven't seen The Marvels yet, but lose the S in "Marvels" and you have the perfect description of the MCU over the past several years: "The Marvel problem was it wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible either." I still think, the years of COVID and the push for Disney+ notwithstanding, the MCU should have taken a rest for at least 5 years after Endgame or, at the latest, Spider-Man: No Way Home. the problem with taking an extended break in films they risk people moving on to other franchises/genres, say they did take that break in releases and dc actually had someone competent planning their cinematic universe (their version of Feige, which they now may have.) disney/marvel would have lost ground to dc/wb. competition is healthy for business but you dont give them a free win or a massive head start no matter how confident you are in your product. sure they didn't need what eleven films and ten tv series in that time frame as it has been a bit over exposure.

I have to get to the marvels eventually, so this is gonna be a general point. With the room they have to try new things and explore different characters, universes, etc, it wouldn't hurt to give other shows and people a chance to run the offense every now and then the marvels problem was it wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible either. disney seem to be in a bit of a panic with marvel tv shows at the moment because a couple of shows didn't hit the viewing figure numbers they expected and seem to be trying to keep things in a holding pattern to get things back on track in their mind. while I dont see them giving any marvel shows the willow series treatment (full on removal) they probably are a bit more wary of trying new things.

Who's the schmucks that are giving him money to do this? Netflix gave him a five-project deal when WB cut ties with him in 2021, which resulted in Army of the Dead, Army of Thieves, Rebel Moon, and Twilight of the Gods. Planet of the Dead is still to come. unless they count the fifty hour directors cut of rebel moon as a film of its own, which technically it would be if he puts any footage he removed to keep the two parts to netflix's expected time limit. I'm not wanting to see his directors cut of this Norse mythology film, I can do without seeing Loki f***ing a horse in slow motion.

Wasn't Ricochet caught up in anti-vaxy adjacent stuff? ADAM COLE WRESTLED A LADDER ON HIS OWN FOR 30 MINUTES AND IT WAS EPIC bit unfair considering john cena was an unannounced participant of the match.

Why didn't they just uh... build a car that can't be pulled apart by an angry toddler having a meltdown? because the angry hate filled toddler in charge took time away from killing twitter to supervise the building of the cybertruck prototype and insisted they dont change a thing about it.

they wanted his visual style for their movies and that is one thing he is good at is how he presents the movies visually, he just gets the urge to make large chunks of them slow motion or tries to insist on doing a black and white version and a darker grittier edgier directors cut. but even then the dark and gritty smeared with mud is a terrible look for a Superman movie... the whole "it's superman but evil/slightly less heroic" had been done to death before man of steel, and given what we know of how he flat out ignored the studio heads directions on making his movies I dont think they wanted what they got. superman really should be an untouchable character in the sense of "this is what is expected of the character do not go against it", as an evil superman would vaporise the earth in seconds due to the population being so stupidly needy, helpless and incredibly stupid before setting out to conquer the universe.
