When it comes to taking bumps he'd probably trust a veteran over a rookie. Even if the rookie was his own son. Well, they are far from rookies and, Bret helped in their training but, even then, why would he be going up against his family? Beside, if last night was any indication, it's going to look terrible no matter what Bret does. Now that I agree with, but I'm just saying. If I were him the fact that they are family would have zero factor in how much I trusted them in the ring.

I'd feel safer working with family, them knowing more about what I can and cannot do.

Cena vs Batista with the Vince-Hart angle. Very creative from the crack(ed) creative staff.

But how does Cena vs. Batista in any way solve Bret vs. Vince? How did Lashley vs Umaga solve Vince vs Trump?

We get to see what happened after RAW ended on SmackDown! Looked like Batista had Cena up for one helluva Powerbomb.

Would you rather have your son who is in his 3rd year at medical school do brain surgery on you, or a guy who has been a brain surgeon for 10 years?

In that case, I would go for someone not emotional attached to me so they wouldn't freak out to easily. But, that is an extreme example.

What would you rather have, a man in his mid 50's that had two strokes and can't take a bump having a match with a non-wrestler in his 60's?

Bret Hart is in no condition to wrestle. Personally, I feel it is quite selfish to wish for this man to wrestle and risk further injury to himself in a WrestleMania match.
I have no problem with Cena & Batista fighting the war against Bret/Vince. We all know it will end with Vince tapping in the Sharpshooter, isn't that what we want anyways?

Seriously Bret Hart wouldn't be caught dead in denim shorts and basketball sneakers

If Bret is as physically limited as he seems at the moment, then I have no problem at all with this.
Hart-Vince is big but so is Cena-Batista, joining these together and letting those two do the heavy lifting (literally) while they can still get in the finale everyone wants - Vince beatdown and Sharpshooter - then it makes perfect sense.
If Bret is able to actually wrestle a garbage brawl then I'd say no, but reports suggesting (and beliveably so) that he can't take a back bump even means that this seems a very good way around it to me.

I still feel it's be some sort of singles match with a stipulation attached.

For my money, I'd really rather see the Hit Man kick Michaels' ass than Vince's. Or perhaps they could set something up where Michaels double crosses Vince with a superkick, then Bret applies the sharpshooter to McMahon, then Shawn gives Bret Hart one last hug and says he's sorry right before Hart walks off into the sunset and ends his career for good, saying "I got my closure. Farewell." The next night on Smackdown, Vince could then start a campaign of punishment against Michaels, maybe involving Trips. Also, realistically how many more years can Michaels wrestle? He has to be getting near the end of his career i would think.

How about a man who was there in 1997, they have been teasing an encounter with mcmahon for a few months.
a man who bret hart has gone on record many times as saying is one of the greatest wrestlers ever.
