Yes. (Probably not the time to get into an Abbott and Costello routine) I don't know that I was ever a big Anvil fan, but I remember I had his action figure because my mom bought it to put on a birthday cake. (It was a wrestling ring cake, with licorice ropes)

Seriously, f*** it. Induct the Hart Foundation into the WWE Hall of Fame. That way Martha can't complain that they're exploiting Owen. They were one of the best factions of the 90's. Can't deny Neidhart, Pillman and Bulldog that honor just because Owen was apart of it. This needs to happen. RIP Anvil. This really sucks and this better lead to a HOF induction and we induct them all.

I wish "Who's dead" was just a not-so-specific question right now.
All kidding aside, honestly, I never met him and he wasn't on the list of definitive nice guys. This is why Brian and Nikolai hit me harder....both were extremely nice to me and Brian kept correspondence with myself and my friends on Facebook. But...you can't deny Jim was part of a VERY iconic team and stable. Two versions of said team, even! And he did his job well as the Tank to Bret's Technician.
I know besides the Alzheimer's he did have bouts of personal demons, and he no showed a show or two we were to go to years back.
This, the passings of weeks ago, and things like Charlotte Rae dying, have made me question a lot lately and wonder if someone who had an 80s childhood is supposed to miss so many icons of the time now, and that certain presentations and programs from the time indeed now have 1-2 surviving members left now.

If that's what they're worried about....besides the Martha issues.

So yeah, dude was trying to push his agenda a little bit, thought so. Which, don't get me wrong, it's an agenda I support 100%, but dude shouldn't have done that on an instagram post, regardless of good intentions. Well it's not as obnoxious and for the money as The Lawsuit. I don't think Chris is on the list, or is he? If not, the fact that he and Foley were not pursued for it proves it is an exploitative joke.

This was a total shock. When I saw the WWE logo on my phone, I figured it was a preview for Raw. What I saw, was totally not what I was expecting. RIP to him, and condolences to the family and friends.

RIP Anvil. I absolutely loved The Hart Foundation & The Bulldogs as a kid. Anvil was a great personality and that laugh is unforgettable. Cheers to Nattie & his family.

I never met him, and, it was years before meeting Bret, that I got my brother, an autographed Hart Foundation pic for Christmas, one year. He told me that it was his favorite gift, because I know of his love of belts, and the tag belts are on full display.

Man, Bret is the only member of the Hart Foundation left. RIP Jim. One member. Owen, Pillman, and Davey never got to see their kids grow up, at least Davey got to see his son for 17 years. Now, with Anvil gone, that means those 3 and Anvil will never see their grandchildren grow up. They won't be the cool grandfather that spoils their grandkids, and their own children can't go to them for advice on how to raise their kids. Bret's all that's left, really f***ing sucks.

RIP Anvil. I loved this guy as a kid. I always thought he should ditch that pansy Bret Hart and go solo. Back then Bret would get his ass kicked and Anvil would come in and clean house.
I always wanted to have a beard like his. RIP Anvil. You were the man!
