Very sad. I just watched the Coliseum video of the Hart Foundation on WWE network the other day because I loved that tag team era. RIP.

Professional wrestler Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart died at his home Monday at the age of 63, WWE announced.
Neidhart fell and hit his head, the Pasco County (Fla.) Sheriff’s office told TMZ. Emergency dispatch audio obtained by the site describes a man having seizures and convulsions. A 911 call was placed around 6:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Neidhart and Bret "Hit Man" Hart formed a tag-team pairing known as "The Hart Foundation" which won the WWE Tag Team Championship title twice.
In high school, Neidhart set the California state record in shot put before going on to hold brief stints with both the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders, appearing in some preseason games. Afterwards, Neidhart pursued a career in wrestling and was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Stu Hart. He made his pro debut in 1979, competing in the Calgary Stampede and Japan Pro Wrestling before joining the World Wrestling Federation in 1985.
Neidhart last competed in the WWE in 1997, but officially retired from wrestling in 2013.
Neidhart is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and his three children, including Natalie, also known as WWE wrestler Natalya.

Someone that my mom knew, her fiancée went the same way. Was about the same age, too.
Bret and Natalya have to be gutted right now at this news

Bret and Natalya have to be gutted right now at this news Bret posted something quick (a pic, "saddened and shocked, no words yet") which I suspect was done to address/quiet the nosy Twitter folks for a while. I doubt Nattie will be posting at all today, especially since 1000's of fans and almost every wrestler tweet I've seen has been @ mentioning her for 4 hours.

How terribly sad for the family. He always brightened up an episode of Total Divas when he was on, just seemed like such a funny, big-hearted guy. RIP Anvil.

The silver lining to this, if you can take it as that, is that Jim at least had the chance to live a fuller life than Brian, Owen and Davey. 63 is still very young by today's standards, but it's still better than under 50.
Reading how he went, however... So sad. And for Bret and Nattie, who have already dealt with so much tragedy and turmoil, this is just a terrible thing to read. From what I've read, Bret and Nattie are very close, so at least it's a small comfort to know they can be there for each other in this trying time.

I wouldn't blame her if she went quiet for a while, she's feeling enough pain without having to be constantly reminded that her father is gone. Even if Neidhart did have issues in recent times, she still seemed like she was very close with her dad.

Sadly, by the standards of wrestling back in Neidhart's prime, 63 is considered old. If you make it to that age, you're one of the lucky ones.

Damn... I was a big fan of watching the Hart Foundation's matches, even when they were heels.
Rest in peace, sir.

A slip and fall of all things... damn... I had a seizure in 2011, that my fall woke up my brother. (My mom was out, with the dogs). Now, anytime she hears any thud, she worries that it's me. It's crazy how a fall can affect you.

Was a big fan of the Anvil back in the Hart Foundation days. I loved how he was the bruiser to Bret’s technician, how Bret would do some actual wrestling before tagging in the Anvil who would just club the guy and overpower him, loved his maniacal laugh, his pointy goatee, and “the Anvil” is one of the better nicknames out there.
63 is like 120 in 1980s wrestler years, so while it sucks that he’s gone he still lived a full life.
RIP.
