Wrestling is the only combat sport where women have chance against men and breaking gender barriers is wrestling's rare wealth. I enjoy cross gender matches I think they are brave and fun cause it always tell the story of brawn vs brains. On the other hand I would also approve South Park storyline of "Macho Man identifying as women" and kicking ass of every knockout/diva there is until one of them comes up with the plan to take him down using here ultra athleticism and IQ.

This is really no different as Nyla is all muscle and size compared to rest of the women roster, they really have a chance to tell that story.

I don't follow him on Twitter, so I had no idea he was such a bellend. It's not just his views either, he's a man who's nearly fifty still tweeting unfunny "I identify as a..." memes and calling people who disagree with him "libturds". It seems as if he's got quite a bit of form for being weird and obnoxious on social media too.

I see his profile picture is a promo shot from about 1999 too. It's all a bit pathetic.

I don't really have a desire to read what he said since everything I've ever heard from him in shoot interviews is just like, "Weed cures everything..." and "Libtard this, libtard that...".

I don't really like intergender matches on the regular, to me it should be a one off in a very rare circumstance to give it that special attraction feel. And the woman shouldn't always go over.

Nyla Rose, to my knowledge, is the first transsexual woman of much prominence in wrestling. There's an awful lot of people in this world who still have a huge problem with that. I'm sure she has extremely thick skin and won't let some wack job bother her in the slightest.

Like I said in the AEW thread until it started getting promoted I had no idea Nyla Rise was transgender. Did my view on her change after finding out she was transgender? Nope. I am not a member of the LGBTQ community but I do realize what Nyla being a focal point of tv and being treated seriously and not as a joke means to that community.

Val Venis has some backwards way of thinking. I hate that people have views like this and they get attention brought to them but the best we can do is to highlight the good people that are out there

I have NO PROBLEM against trans people. Life is to short, do what makes you happy and be whomever you want to be. I do agree with Val on some of the things he mentioned. AEW's roster is so small anyways, not only is Rose the biggest female wrestler, but chances are shes also one of the heavier talents ( male or female) overall as well.
