Seriously, remember when the DO were major supporting players in main event feuds? Now they're just.....there.
They shouldve pushed them after that promo in Rochester last year, then the moment Anna joins JAS the group went downhill to the point of no recovery.
Didn’t help that Anna turned away from them SUPER fast. Like she had one quick conversation with Tay (backstage after having not interacted onscreen together in months) one week. And the very next week, she’s just 100% onboard with the whole JAS stuff. When arguably their biggest recruit can ditch them that instantly, thru look like losers.

Can we not make this an AEW vs WWE thing? Especially when WWE fans really f***ing hated when people were doing that when AEW was getting better ratings? It's one week where all of Wednesday's cable numbers were down, and now we're making it into a company comparison as to why one is "flourishing" and another isn't because it's doing wrong things And I guess we're just gonna ignore that there was a stretch very recently of Dynamite being up year over year because this number at face value looks bad, because sure. AEW only ever edged out NXT. Now Its on par to be below that. Still waiting on that silver lining This isn't true, like... at all... they had their best rating since the wars just last week, and it was over 600K, AEW at its worst days are 200K above that Like I get being cynical or down like you have been lately but you are literally just spouting lies to say AEW's in the dirt.

NXT had their best rating in years last week, it didn't carry over to this week, and this Dynamite still did more viewers and a higher demo than that show did. For now. Give it time. I knew backing this company there would be bad times and here were are. Hopefully, they can weather the storm. Dude they're bad times because you are making them bad times, fully expecting AEW to die at all times even when the most remote thing that happens isn't perceived as good They were third on cable on a bad night for cable this week, Warner is basically huffing their farts and love everything they're doing... you really gotta get out of this mindset, it's not productive, and I'm far from the first person to voice their concern over similar comments you've made.

Friends of mine who watched it didn't have an overall good opinion about the show. As some ( not all )people here and elsewhere didn't neither.
The main event was fantastic though. I hate it didn't get more viewers.

I don't know kw how someone can say the Dark Order weren't done dirty in good faith
Lost almost every single match on tv.
Appeared about once a month
Lost almost every member without any ceremony and didn't even get back at the people that did it.
Get called losers every single time.

Like I already mentioned, cable was down because there was nothing else big on TV, like last week’s College World Series. The Housewives show that airs head to head with AEW went up in the demo and in viewership from last week. Cable viewing being down is only an excuse if there is a reason like cable outages around the country or it being a holiday or something like that. For a run of the mill Wednesday, that’s not really relevant to the conversation, in my opinion. You don't know that and you cannot factually say that was the reason cable was down today It is very relevant to the conversation because this has happened before, and it just happened again. Linear live cable viewership has been down for awhile and it only continues to go down. Some odd days this is what's going to happen, and I think it's stupid to just waive it away like it wasn't a legitimate reason AEW did low this week, when the last few weeks they'd been getting much better ratings and literally nothing was wrong, and now suddenly everything is and shit needs to change Sorry if I'm with other people about these threads but they're getting tedious, it doesn't feel like some stuff comes from a genuine place of wanting discussion, they just want to discuss why AEW suddenly needs to change because a weekly number didn't hit their bar, and once again, here we are. Even when it's right in your face as to why, no, it HAS to be something else so we can discuss what AEW is doing wrong. Sorry, I don't agree I guess. Ratings have trended down as a whole for AEW for a while (but nothing too crazy, I don’t think there’s any danger of not getting a big rights increase), and it happens to coincide with a time where a lot of people feel the product itself has cooled creatively, so I think it’s fair to discuss the possible reasons why and what we would do differently.

My take isn’t going to change a single thing around here or anything, but, if you enjoyed the show, be it Dynamite, Rampage, Collision, Raw or whatever and the show isn’t on the verge of being cancelled like, anytime soon. Why is so so bothersome if the ratings are not higher? If you loved the show then you love the show, it’ll air same time next week again for you to enjoy, worrying about what the ratings are adds extra unnecessary stress as fans, if I watch a streaming show I enjoyed Iam not going to go online the next day to see how many other people watched, because it just doesn’t matter to me, and the same should apply to wrestling shows

These threads always seem like they bring out the worst takes on wrestling as a whole.

Yeah guys, like why must people go on the defensive and make excuses? On the flip side it’s not worth poking fun at either. Imo it’s not a good rating at all. But if you’d enjoyed the show and the company is not in any danger from it, who the f*** cares?

I think yes, the rating is a bit low, but when everything on cable is low, then it's weird to scrutinize it in the ways that it is. They were still third overall, for as bad as people wanna say the rating is... that's still the third highest rating on ALL of cable And yes the NHL Draft did better, of course it did, Bedard is literally being pegged as a generational talent.

I think the lowest unopposed airing of all time is worthy of pointing out and discussing. Doesn’t mean the company is in danger but it certainly seems noteworthy. Also, despite cable being “lower” yesterday, the two shows above Dynamite on the chart both did higher ratings and viewership than their last airings.

Jumping in to say this is a perfect time to play Final Fantasy 16, only for PlayStation 5. It is also the reason ratings were bad. Abandon mjf, embrace Clive.

Or to find new members to replace them. They've become a very passive which is worse than any defection or loss. Hopefully they're now rectifying that with this Hangman angle.
