Prime Kurt Angle, Benoit and a young Brock would have been way better matches although probably not great by any means as Steiner was already reaching Hogan levels of immobility by that point.

Pig was talking from a kayfabe explanation. the holes are there so the camera can get a shot without the mesh in the way. All the way to the top? My madeup kayfabe reason would be so that the setup/maintenance crew could easily climb to the top and do their inspections/repairs.

Every old school shoot interview featuring old time bookers like Dusty, Watts, etc. would always speak about Eddie Graham with the kind of reverence and awe that comic book folks reserved for Stan Lee.

If you go back to the NWA-TNA era and count the NWA title then you can add Ron Killings/R-Truth, Jeff Jarrett, and Rhino to that list. Christian as well. And they just signed Aybss as an agent.

Most of the former Impact World Champions are in WWE. Checked this out just to make sure and indeed it is. There have been 26 Impact World Champions and 13 of them are currently in or have working relationships with WWE. Those men being: Kurt Angle, Lashley, Booby Roode, Sting, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, John Morrison, Samoa Joe, EC3, Drew McIntyre, Eric Young, Matt Hardy, & Mick Foley If you go back to the NWA-TNA era and count the NWA title then you can add Ron Killings/R-Truth, Jeff Jarrett, and Rhino to that list.

Vince's dream commentary team would be JBL, Lawler and Cornette.

DDPs time was in 97 or 98, but WCW was hinging their bets on Sting in 97 and Goldberg in 98.
An argument could be made that you could swap out Lugers Nitro title win in 97 and give it to Page and it would have been an equal or better moment, then book the follow up the same way they did to get it back on Hogan.

This is going to sound like a knock on Waltman, and I don't intend it as one, but really, the NWO induction should just be Hogan, Hall and Nash. He was a big enough part of DX (the second iteration) to deserve to go in, but to the NWO, he was no bigger player than say, Buff Bagwell. Big fan of his in ring work, and it's not a super big deal either way, but I would have kept this with the original trio.
He absolutely should go in as a singles guy though for his 1-2-3 Kid run. He was one of the performers, along with Mysterio later on, of his generation that really opened things up for smaller guys.

The sex offender thing is likely a primary reason as many others have stated. Also, his prime came around at a bad time to be a wrestler. It was the early 90s slump after the territories were all dead, WCW was on its ass, WWF was on its ass etc... and he was trying to claw out a living in Mexico and the indy scene at the time. I imagine had he lived even five more years, he would have possibly have had a good ECW run and be well-known for that.

This makes me sad because I really enjoy Sandman matches and his stick schtick.
Yes he sucks. But that's the whole point. Watching him run the ropes is wrestlecrap worthy entertainment. Then he attempts shit like hurricanranas and flying leg drops and it's just glorious in the worst way possible. I love him.
But now he has to go and f'n Cornette himself. Damn it Sandy.
"Say your prayers little one Don't forget my son To include everyone"
C'mon man, it's right there in your entrance music.

Use a hammer tacker. Gets the staple in deeper, and also would hurt more even without the staple, as its an actual blunt instrument.

In a welcome surprise, Jim Cornette responded on Instagram to the news that he resigned with this. "YES, it is true that I have resigned from the NWA. I understand that in people's point of views that my comments were not pleasing and I apologize." I mean...at least he didn't say "Sorry if you were offended"? Also, let's see on Friday if he actually means that. Spoiler: He doesn't. I am doubtful of the legitimacy of this on the grounds that to my knowledge Jim Cornette doesn't even know what Instagram is let alone have an account... he barely understands Twitter.

Superstar Billy Graham
It serious answer: Raven. He'd knock that out of the park IMO. Former NWA champ. Loves old school territory wrestling but has a link to the modern style, opinionated as Corny but half the asshole and none of the racism.

This is the guy who made a joke about the Challenger disaster on TBS the same year as the actual disaster. Well, it would've aired had Dusty not shut down production and told Cornette to do the promo again.

Wow just wow, what a vile thing to say. Every time I think current Corny can't sink any lower he surprises me. Another thing I find very interesting how many of Corny's go-to insults are either homophobic, transphobic or racist yet he claims he isn't a homophobe, transphobe or racist rather he is ignorant of their deeper meanings, odd how that works huh? Also, I'm rapidly losing respect for Brian Lass (sp?) with each podcast episode as he sits there unwilling or unable to call Corny out on his verbal bs. The guy is becoming as big a douchebag as Corny by omission. Oh I totally agree, especially about Brian Last. You can tell he realises "oh shit, that was over the line" but he daren't actually call Cornette out. Utterly spineless and he's a moron for not editing it out. I dunno, maybe this will blow over but if Justin Roberts is a litigious guy then I can't see how Cornette gets away with it. You can't just accuse someone of being a pedophile with no basis whatsoever, it's bizarre that he thinks something like that is ok to say. I am not defending the statement here at all by Cornette. It was tactless, tasteless, and a really overall terrible attempt at humor that should be apologized for by any rational human being. That said, it was an *attempt* at humor. You'd have a hard time convicting a judge that he was truly insinuating Justin Roberts actually molests children.
It's strangely similar to the suicide controversy, in that, here is another ring announcer Cornette is lambasting over his appearance in a really terrible and over the top way. Trouble is, Cornette thinks he's George Carlin and its 1998 when he's dishing out these barbs but he's actually more like Bill Maher in 2019. He still has his core audience, but he's bit by bit driving away everyone else who could possibly be on his side every time he opens his mouth.
