From what I saw of Impact, they seem like a low-budget APA knockoff. But... they don't get "hired" by people. Is it because one of them has a hat? No, it just makes me think of early APA promos where they needed Beer Money. And they have Jackie.

I think Punk sends a good message to the media. Now if anyone ever brings up steroids to Vince, he can say that the World Champion of the top show is drug and alcohol free. And the follow up question would be "oh thats great, but what about the other 100+ wrestlers you employ?" You think guys like Batista and Cena are on steroids? Surely you jest.

I agree with Bret on this. I don't think he's a jerk at all for speaking his mind.

I couldn't find the Andy Kaufman figure at any Toys R Us around here, so I was finally forced to buy one off eBay.

This must have been what inspired Savage to rap in 2003.

I saw it coming after the SmackDown promo with The Rock where he said he'd do anything to beat him for the belt. The match told a great story and the turn was the perfect ending.

Tell Austin to stop whining like a baby and job to Double J. Simple as. And if he didn't want to, HE can go to WCW. Let's face it he needed neck surgery around the time, and he never really picked up his momentum again. The WWF survived into the future without Hogan or Bret before this so I think they'd have been fine losing Austin. What?? You're saying the WWF could have benefited more from having JEFF JARRETT on the roster than Steve Austin? And Austin never picked up momentum again? So, I guess drawing 60,000+ in 2001 meant that his tank was empty.
