Forget WWECW, lets list 100 reasons why old ECW was da bomb!
(1) "Enter Sandman"
That Metallica tune comes across the PA, and everyone in the crowd knew who it is. They look in the crowds for the beer-guzzling, cigarette-smoking, rugby-playing Sandman, and the crowds sing along to "Enter the Sandman" in an unison of joy.

Scott Hall may have been part of the Klique, but he rocks.
And this is hilarious!
"one time I beat up Marty Jannety...."

I think he's a really good wrestler and has a unique look that suits him. It bugs me a bit that people think he's a woman or make comments on it since I don't think that fits him but whatever. Whoever beats him will look like a world beater, which I think is about as good as you can do for a belt and the company nowadays It's not that he acts like a women at all, it's that to some people he reminds them of a fat asian women a little too much...appereance wise... Then they're idiots, I'm sorry. Why are some smarks not happy unless DAnielson has the strap until he dies?

You know why Takeshi kicks ass?
How many other top-title holders are big ole guys who kickass...and I dont mean big in being tall or steroid beefcake-ness. I mean big as in, the Dusty Rhodes variety.

Thank you T-Dog, you da man!
Really, the more ROH I get, the less I get depressed about the WWE's crappyness.

But, if Jed does it, maybe a kayfabe take on the material instead of behind the scenes like the DX-Nitro masterpiece of his.

Yeah I never understood how he could get money out of Hogan when he's the one who told him to do it legit! Maybe it was WWF who settled it for Hogan?

Oh yeah, then he actually does drop...and that moment of uneasyness, and Mr. T trying to crack a joke (I assume he figured it was part of the act). Still, I laughed when Belzer, bloodied neck and all, gets up quickly and says "we'll be back!" yeah. its kinda the crying wolf thing. oh well. why sue the guy? geez Unless I was wrong, that lawsuit was settled out of court.

I heard Belzer do stand up about this. It was really funny. Remember his roast of Chevy Chase? ""The only time Chevy Chase has a funny bone in his body is when I f*** him in the ass!"

Wow, at youtube I happened upon the live-episode of Richard Belzer's then-talk show back in the 1980s where the Hulkster placed Belzer in a chin lock, who promptly passes out, falls to the floor, which cuts a visible blood gash on his neck. Belzer then sued Hogan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP7u5Djca3oHere's a Rewriting the Book challenge to Jed the Man.................what if Hogan had killed Belzer?

And Heenan is totally correct.
Hell, the only valet I'm aware of in the WWE is Booker's wife......right?

He promotes Tennessee Mountain Wrestling. I think he has something to do with the Tennessee Bonding Company. I think he's been involved with several local promotions over the years. Pissed a lot of people off in the past by running cards with a lot of no-shows. OHHHHH................that guy. Dear God, I remember a show once where the top-belt champion didn't show, and the belt was defended "in abstantee" by one of the Tag Team Champions, but no explanation as to why he, with no kayfabe connections, would sub in for the champ.

Just wondered, what are your thoughts on the "K-Town Daddy" Terry Landell? Remind me exactly who he is.

True. Well, it ended up maybe for the best, as I moved a little further away from the shows and wouldn't have been able to make it near enough to keep a job, should I have proven good enough. And I've always thought Eaton was a great wrestler. If I were to decide to get into wrestling, I'd probably take a close look at getting trained by him. Agree about Eaton. Then again, I see how Scotty Bowden (of Kentucky Fried Rasslin column at comics101.com) went from wrestling geek fan to referee to really fun manager....I mean why not? Doesn't mean I would WORK really as a manager, but I'm good at peeving people off. "Wow, look at all these losers out here tonight. I see 3 or 4 deadbeat dads who probably skipping on their child support. Ricky Morton called, he asked fi any of you want to wrestle him sometime. I also see some housewives who need to go back home to eat their Oreos and watch Oprah, because their big bottoms are taking up several expensive seats at a time. Holy crap, there you ARE! I want to personally thank YOU for cleaning up my little mess in the men's room at McDonalds earlier today. If it isn't for people like you working such jobs......I would be speaking en espanola....E Tu?" Actually that sucked, but............*Jumps off a Roof*

I actually emailed UWA once to ask if they were looking for managers. They said they leave it up to the wrestlers, but asked if had any experience (which of course, I don't) so that ended any hope of getting into the business just then. Honestly, I would have lied about "experience." I mean, you gotta start somewhere. Besides, whats the worse that happens? You lose the job? No better than if one DIDN'T have a job, right?

Yeah he did, but with Eaton, you never know quite honestly. Does he have a bad rep when it comes to training or something? Or is he just bad for "training, then not training", etc? I hadn't heard anything other than he had a school. Actually, unlike say Ricky "Child Support Dead Beat" Morton, Eaton was a rather nice guy, and a solid dependable ring worker. Always was. At least he was awesome when I met him once. Its just, the problem with wrestling in East Tennessee is, you have a promotion that changes its name every damn month from Southern States Wrestling to Tennessee Wrestling Association to Appalachian Wrestling Federation..............its hard to keep up with all that. Of course, UWA has been stable for the last few years (the first long-running East Tennessee rasslin promotion since the Continental Wrestling days of NWA)
