mero, blackman and meltzer were on msnbc Steve Blackman was on? When did this happen and what did he say? He basically said that steroids ARE a problem in wrestling, but yeah he said the media-pumped up "roid rage" excuse for the Benoit Tragedy is Horses***. He clearly made the point that for 2 murders and a suicide to happen over 3 days, that cant be roid rage. Plus, he claimed that he never took the roids, while Mark Mero admitted it. Off topic, but am I the only one who thought Blackman had died?

Did anyone else catch how many millions of bucks they said Vince's personal stock of WWE has dented his pocket? Yeah and no wonder Vince went on TODAY show.

Yeah I saw Meltzer and Mero.
Meltzer's story about the WWE chat and his theory of the wikipedia situation....now thats revealing. Too bad the media will continue beating that one to death this side of Mr. Ed.
and Mero is right. "You can't change a problem when you don't acknowledge it"

Hannity only reads Conservapedia. Hannity is an idiot. The problem is that Colmes is as much of an idiot, and thus not as obvious. Then again, Hannity was the same guy that once wrote that liberalism was naturally evil, and the same guy that once did marketing support for the most insanely stupid ideological masturbation comic book I've ever heard of.

The Good: Vince certainly is handling himself very profressionally here, and he should be commended for that. The Bad: Vince clearly isn't going to take any measures to ensure the mental/emotional well being of his wrestlers any time soon. The deflection of questions asking "Is it the wrestling industry itself?" is NOT encouraging. I absolutely agree. Except Vince would change his tone if some Senator or Congressman wanting press for themselves (or maybe good samaritans. ) issue a subpoena or two this side of that Baseball Hearing that effectively buried both McGwire and Palmeiro. Imagine Chris Masters at Congress. "I have NEVER taken steroids. I swear...why are you laughing??!?"

My friend saw Benoit and Malenko at a gym in my hometown in West Virginia. He said Benoit was curling 120lb dumbbells. That's insane. DAMN.

What could make the World's Greatest Tag Team noticable again??? A feud with Londrick. I think the matches would kick ass and if the crowd payed attention during tag matches, they might get interest. Armando wouldn't be a bad addition to the team either. Well, it would help if "The World's Greatest Tag Team" actually were worthy of that label. You know, actually win alot of matches, make the fans believe you are worthy of such a self-label. Nah, WWE needs jobbers for Cade & Murdoch/K&L

I just had an idea: I think it would be cool if Shelton went back to being an arrogant heel again, but this time had Estrada as his mouthpiece. Shelton could beat Santino for the IC title (why the hell does Santino still have the belt anyways?), he could have a match with Umaga, Umaga snaps and gets himself DQ'd. Estrada becomes tired of enduring DQ losses and turns on Umaga. They then Kamala-ize Umaga and make him a face "savage" and have him feud with Shelton, with Shelton going over with the feud and Umaga possibly being re-packaged or just being an undercard face for the time being. Thoughts? Didnt the face-turn for Kamala totally not work at all really?

Shelton is a solid ring worker, but he's a situation where I am not surprised nor really shocked that WWE depushed him.
He was given the ball, and he couldn't run with it.
Though that Mama schtick killed it for him seriously with fans.

HEll, Regal could have a one-day title reign this side of Kane......and I would be okay with it.
With the air of steroids, I see alot of non-suspect "pumped" people being seriously pushed to deflate the cloud. Hey, it worked for WWF after the trial.
So CM Punk, Matt Hardy, William Regal....good times are coming for you.

I keep meaning to pick up his book. Is it any good? I liked it. It was like a rare chance to read a book by a career midcard worker who really hasn't earned serious recognition from casual fans, or even with smarks. Plus, its nice reading about the British wrestling scene. I mean, look at that clique of guys he worked with over at Japan, WCW, and WWF: Benoit, Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, etc. They all (well, for you know who, was) are worshipped but Regal? Nah hes that stiff-British rassler. What nonsense. Book Regal for the belt.

I think WWE needs to really be serious about expanding itself to the international audience by crowning a non-North American wrestler as champion.
Regal would have probably a 30-day reign, but if they make him a ruthless but awesome wrestler, by stomping the greenhorn Santino and winning the IC....and then wanting a cut of the action at the top.

So, I think it's fair to say everybody is in favour of "Regal For Champion" as I've been wanting for ages? Damn right son.

I personally loved Regal's IC title run years back. He played himself really well as someone who was a street thug from Liverpool who would bash your head in for $5....and yes, with the BRASS KNUCKLES. None of this "Lord Regal" nonsense or whatever lame royal gimmick for him. Plus, he can make fun of Santino for being a "meatball" of a champ, and Regal saying he is the one non-American star who deserves the moniker of champion across all continents. BOOK IT! He's from Blackpool, not Liverpool, but other than that I agree with you. Regal for IC champ, and/or WWE champ. I don't care if he gets a transitional WWE Title reign- he deserves to be the first British WWE Champion. Regal is a legend. Plus his hometown is like, 15 minutes away from where I live, so he's a certified home town hero for me. I still think Davey Boy Smith should have had a WWF title reign in the early 90s during his prime, or at least before he went to absolute hell. Really, a British Bulldog/Owen/Bret Hart triple threat duel for the belt is like one of those great PPV fights we never got.

Sorry for my ignorance.

Again, how would such a storyline be resolved without it blowing up (pun!) in WWE's face?
I dare you.
