I didn't think it was that bad. WWE wants to be and is a soap opera and when hasn't Stefano faked his death on Days of our lives. and YET, how could such a storyline be concluded without being a Gooker winner? Well?

I would personally suggest the almost legendary (to IWC at least) Malenko-Jericho feud from 1998 in WCW.

www.pwmania.com/newsarticle.php?page=184993019Jillian Hall is the first WWE star to really speak out against Chris Benoit. She posted a likely controversial blog entry on her MySpace page earlier today regarding the Benoit situation. She said what he did "is completely disgusting and unforgiveable!" However, she pulled it a few hours later. Here is the blog entry that was deleted: Time to Speak Well, by now the whole world knows of the horrible news that took place this week. With all of the comments and messages from people saying how sorry they are for our loss, I figured I would speak in general. I am 100% in agreeance with WWE and Mr. McMahon on completely erasing all tributes to Chris Benoit. While he had always been nice and polite to me and most of the WWE talent, what he did is completely disgusting and unforgiveable! This man who could have been a legend has demolished his reputation. My heart goes out to Nancy and the adorable Daniel and the family and friends they left behind! The following is from Kurt Angle's official website, KurtAngleTNA.com: "Kurt hopes that you will join him in extending condolences and prayers for the survivors of the Chris Benoit Family. This news is very sad for all of us that knew and loved Chris. It is a sad tragedy and we wish the best for the family members that have to deal with this situation and go forward from this." Former WWE star Bret Hart and newspaper writer Alex Marvez (who conducted a controversial interview with Konnan a few weeks ago that angered TNA management) will be appearing on Nancy Grace on CNN's Headline News channel at 8 p.m. to discuss the Benoit situation and other recent developments. Former professional wrestler Lex Luger who lives in the Metro Atlanta area told 11Alive News Wednesday that he is shocked and saddened by the death of Chris Benoit. Police said Benoit killed himself after strangling his wife and smothering his 7-year-old son inside their Fayetteville home this past weekend. Benoit and Luger were aquainted through wrestling but Luger told 11Alive's Valerie Hoff that the two had not seen each other in some time. Luger said alcohol and drugs, including steroids, wreaked havoc on his own life for years before a jail chaplain converted him to Christianity. He said he believes it is possible steroid use played a part in the Benoit family tragedy. "Obviously, they were in his home. Let's face it. There's a pretty good chance he was on them and to discount that they didn't play a role, as far as with his temperament, I'd be lying if I said there wasn't that possibility," Luger told 11Alive's Valerie Hoff. Luger is now a fitness and nutrition coach in Cobb County. Well, I'm glad that Luger apparently recovered from his hellish last few years.

It'll make Vince going psycho on Bob Costas seem like a warm-up. My money is on the guy who won the Royal Rumble. Vince is gonna give him a stunner You think O'Reilly with his flabby Irish pale skin will try to call Vince a scumbag when he sees the Genetic Jackhammer's muscles?

I hope Vince goes on the O'Reily Factor and slaps him If Vince goes on the O'Reilly Factor.... that will be must-see TV. It'll make Vince going psycho on Bob Costas seem like a warm-up. My money is on the guy who won the Royal Rumble.

I can't believe that Chris benoit killed his own son buy choking him with his bare hands, If that is true. Also, to add to something earler, I don't like nancy grace, or bill maher, or lewis black, or people who think they're smart because of their similar views. I don't mind Ann Coulter all that much though. I just know that if I ever had the opportunity to speak with them, like the warrior likes to say, I'd kick their asses with my mind. I don't like the warrior either by the way. I still can't get over this benoit tragedy. I pick Ideology for 300, Alex.

Nah, she killed someone before getting knocked up (I believe). Damn, imagined her poor kid. "You got a C?!?!? Did you eating apple juice this morning cause you to fail?" What the hell kind of apple juice did you have that you had to eat? Nancy Grace: "Don't avoid the question!" O'Reilly: "This is the NO-SPIN zone! This aint the laundry machine!"

Benoit killed him with a "Stranglehold with the arm" I really think he used the crossface. on his kid...... Imagine how Dean Malenko feels. Seriously, if I'm WWE, I would put the poor guy on suicide watch at this rate.

Speaking of O'Reilly that snake....
Anyone catch that AWA executive the other night?
Why do I have the feeling that he, Vince, and everyone else won't do jack about the steroids deal? They just have to wait it out.
Unless the Feds march in.

I don't watch Nancy Grace, ever, so maybe I'm being unfair... but she just came across as so incredibly insincere about the whole thing. maybe they'll blame that on her hormones now that shes pregnant Nah, she killed someone before getting knocked up (I believe). Damn, imagined her poor kid. "You got a C?!?!? Did you eating apple juice this morning cause you to fail?"

This is my first comment on the matter... and frankly I cant add anything that hasnt already been said. Sadly this adds to my thought that this (wrestling careers) NEVER end well. We have the minority like The Rock or Hogan who seem to be doing well (sans Rocks divorce) but for every Rock we have 100 Jake Roberts'. Guys either stick around forever trying to make money (Snuka, etc etc etc) or they meet an untimely demise (Pillman etc etc etc). Frankly, I applaud Chris Jericho for doing what he loves long enough to live the rest of his life comfortably.... then getting the hell out while he still can. I dunno... I-like pretty much everyone- for once just wish I was typing about a so so RAW instead of this. ....... I was marking hard for Jericho to return. Now? He needs to STAY OUT. Really, I don't want to read about him found dead in a hotel room.

God this Nancy Grace is a dumb retarded B***tch! "Benoit was demoted from the Elite four horsemen to RAW. Do you think that had anything to do with it?" Is this woman for real? Ok, News Media Personality #3 that doesn't know s***. Yeah Benoit was "demoted" to RAW, where he got an IC title run, and oh yeah, that World Heavyweight belt run back in 2004. What a demotion, it drove him insane. No wonder only 16% of Americans respect the media.

You know, as ruthless and cruel as Ann Coulter is, Nancy Grace has killed somebody. TRANSLATION: Grace needs a PPV fight with Don King (with TWO confirmed kills.) See, not to get too political, but I don't think Coulter is ruthless or cruel, but rather just an ignorant bigot. Whats so political? She's just a b****. Even conservatives won't disagree. Besides, when was the last time she was reported on her views? Exactly. She has to saying stupid s*** in order to get attention whatever new book she is plugging.

there was this lady who's child was kidnapped/killed. She of course was the prime suspect(thats just procedure). Nancey had her on her show, and pretty much yelled at her for 10 minutes. She later killed herself(the mom) DAMN You know, as ruthless and cruel as Ann Coulter is, Nancy Grace has killed somebody. TRANSLATION: Grace needs a PPV fight with Don King (with TWO confirmed kills.)

Wrestling IS pretty linked to steroids, the earlier trial for Vince made sure that would always be the case. Vince is lucky the steroid trial didn't interfere with his ability to be a coporate officer of a publicly traded company (as Martha Stewart is not allowed to be). The steroid trial had a lasting effect on how the industry is perceived. And thats why this situation may be the harper that finally block-tackles Vince at the knees.

Instituting it was a good start, but it's still broken. Along with tightening up regulations for drug screening, this incident shows that WWE should conduct periodic psychological evaluations of talent as well. There should be a psychologist employed by the company to do routine interviews, as well as provide assistance for anyone who may be struggling with anything. It may not prevent something like this outright, but may go a long way in alleviating the factors that did lead to it. It makes so much sense....WWE won't do it. But yeah, you're absolutely right.

Compared to the savages of Fark, I think WC has handled itself extraordinarily well, thanks to the Mods.
Really, from what I see, this is the best-behaved wrestling boards regarding the darkest day in WWE history.
