Couldn't they have just given her a warning or told her to stop? I have a feeling they did tell her to stop and it was a "my way or the highway" kind of release If so, she must be doing pretty well with it and her other outside ventures if she called their bluff like that. Good for her if that is indeed the case.

I just saw somewhere the other day Gigi Dolin is 25. I wasn’t surprised like “Wow, she looks good/bad for 25” but more that she had to have started out really young if she’s been around for awhile and still be in her mid 20s.

Imagine telling Eric Bischoff in 1994 that his original idea for The Blue Bloods would one day be running the WWF in tandem.

And (I’m deadly serious here) Michael Caine’s greatest performance. Caine is an absolute titan as Scrooge. He could have played it firmly tongue in cheek and hammed it up because 95% of his scenes are shared with Muppets, and that would have been perfectly fine and wouldn't have detracted from the movie in any way. Instead he played it as if he were acting opposite Olivier, Richardson and Gielgud, and it's so, so good. An interesting fact: Caine starred with Bob Hoskins in the film Mona Lisa, and then both of them went on to star opposite beloved nonhuman characters and deliver powerhouse performances that elevated good children’s movies into great films, period. My point is: go watch Mona Lisa. It’s fantastic.

I’m hoping it’s not the case but I just saw an ad that seemed to indicate the movie is basically “Uh-oh, the humans are back for more…let’s fight in the water this time!”, your standard sequel. Again, hoping it was just a poorly done ad because I didn’t mind the first one but I don’t really need to sit through a longer clone of it.

Two guys working together and then one of them turns and eliminates the other and is like “Hey, every man for himself!”

Who are some guys/gals in wrestling who didn’t leave much of an impact at all but still racked up some championship reigns or other accomplishments?
I started this thinking of Ezekiel Jackson, a by-the-numbers hoss who once used a series of bodyslams as a finisher, yet was Intercontinental Champion and the very last man to hold the ECW Title.
Who else are some decorated bums in wrestling lore?

It still baffles me that they have the most Southern Boys gimmick ever and half their ring gear for years had confederate flags on it. They're from Deleware. Delaware is an entire situation. A good bit of Pennsylvania is the same. There’s a famous and very accurate James Carville quote: “Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in the middle”

The one time I saw Savage was during his Midlife Crisis phase in 1999. Really glad I got to see my all-time fave but it was far from his best (working a match with The Disciple didn’t help, though at least I saw Brother Bruti in his prime back in 1988)
I went to an NXT house show that featured an incredibly phoned-in performance from Shinsuke Nakamura. It was at the tail end of his run there on a freezing cold night at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby so I get that it wasn’t exactly Wrestlemania but still.

What they should’ve done, they should’ve re-signed Big Show and had his new gimmick be suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.
Then you team him up with Edge as The Grit & Shit Connection.

If given proper notice, a person can train their eyes to actually see John Cena. Doctors recommend 3-5 weeks of semi-vigorous training. Attempts to circumvent recommended training regimens could lead to permanent visual impairment. Prepare accordingly, FAN. WHEN, LORD, WHEN?! WHEN DO I GET TO SEE THE GODDAMN SAILBOAT?! Er, uh, I mean John Cena. You gotta relax your eyes

They’re about to decide which one of them can dominate Gigi Dolin better? Now that’s something I’d pay good money to see

Big Bill’s a good wrestling name if you have a lumberjack gimmick but if you’re just out there as a normal guy, thumbs down.

30 was a damn near flawless card. Other than Cena winning (the match was fine) and the Divas nonsense, practically pitch perfect.
31 was a miraculously good show considering the truly lousy buildup. Probably a top 10 Mania, but 30 is up there with 3 and 17 for me.

From the little I’ve seen, he gives off a real 1995/6 Taz vibe, where you’re sure he’s going to just straight up murder someone in the ring one day.

It's settled. No more lumberjack matches ever! In the history of wrestling, how many good lumberjack matches have there been? Rollins/Ambrose at Summerslam 2014 was a fun brawl. I guess you could count the Mankind/Rock “Butts in the Seats” title match on Raw as an unofficial one. What else?

Hell, maybe play their cards right and they could have a modern day Sgt. Slaughter with her, giving the OG a chance to rest since, no offense to him, time isn't on his side anymore. And the fact that Lacey actually served in the military.
