If Ohtani has to stay in California can he please sign with the Giants or Padres. Yankees West don't need more talent and it's not like San Francisco or San Diego are small podunk cities so he'd still get the media coverage. Plus Ohtani hitting bombs into the cove sounds like must see baseball I swear, if the most unique talent in baseball in probably ever goes to the usual talent piles of NY or the Doyers, that's gonna ruin most of his appeal for me.

The problem isn’t even entirely with the NFL, by the time top RBs make it to the league their college and high school teams have ran them into the ground solely because if you have the best player on the field you have to lean on them especially in college when that could be the difference between the coach winning and thus making more money for himself or getting shitcanned. It’s a vicious cycle. RBs get less carries in college now. Most of the top schools they sit behind a better back their freshmen year and declare after their junior year, so it's not like 20 years ago when Ricky Williams had 1,000+ carries at Texas or Cedric Benson had 1,100+ carries also at Texas. The most recent high back taken was Bijan Robinson, also from Texas oddly, and he had 539. The projected top guys for next year like TreVeyon Henderson, Rahiem Sanders, the Michigan duo, etc will probably end up with less than 600 carries in college. The issue is just the speed of the game now more than the physicality. It's hard to make guys miss closer to 30. So if he's a 1st rounder (21 or 22), you control him for 5 years and then franchise him and now he's 27 or 28. So even if he's still effective elsewhere, he won't be for long. It's tough to have leverage there with the rookie pay scale and you don't know what's on the other side of a holdout. You have such a small window to make money in your career that a bluff really eats into that. But if I were like Tony Pollard, I'd pull and Emmitt Smith but Jerry just got burned on that with Zeke so he's not gonna fall for it. But if you're a Pro Bowl back within the first 2-3 seasons and you're the base of the offense, I'd hold out for a very rich but relatively short extension. But it's so easy for the NFL to basically collude and wait them out, the RBs just don't have enough leverage.

Kings sign Nerlens Noel. I’m not sure what he has in the tank, but he might not be worse than Alex Len. I like it. Well, in terms of having someone to stop Kevan Looney from grabbing 35 boards in a game, you definitely have a need for Nerlens Noel. Or him as a rim defender. Offensively, he sure can stand there.

I know it's too early to tell cause Summer League but oh my god here's how it feels to have a team that could have had Cam Whitmore vaping in our locker room rn Never fall in love with Summer League superstars That game hits them quick in the regular season and they never look this same way You say that but I fell in love with the game of Mac McClung as a Laker in Summer League, and then he went on to tremendous regular season accolades such as Dunk Contest Champion and Bench Rider extraordinaire.

Summer League is not the place to go if you wanna have kids Even when in danger of having your huevos crushed, NBA players live by their credo: always be selling. A Dolph-like commitment to acting.

Dallas could, but they also just added Holmes and Lively. Lively is their most talented big, so they need him to get minutes but he wouldn't over Allen so it would be two steps forward and one step back. Cleveland, on the other hand, I can't see trading Allen and getting better in the short term. They still in the market for a starting Center and despite Lively talent they seem to be fine with him taking a step back to learn for a year or two since they don't think he can contribute right now as far a potential championship team I don't think Cavs trade Allen this offseason but something to look out for in the season. Depending how Cavs start the season they may make moves but in theory this should be another leap year for Mobley Lively isn't ready to start at all. But he needs like 14-15 minutes/game this year then maybe 20 next year. Kinda like Mark Williams, low minutes in the first 2-3 months then ramp up the minutes later in the season. Hard for him to get those minutes with a much better player ahead of him. Unless you're using him to get Allen, be it to Cle or another team.

Wonder what the hell Cleveland is looking at on a return for Allen. He's kind of a throwback big. Doesn't have great shooting range, can't guard too many positions. Limited market ala Capela. But also would they trade him for futures given that they're close to contending? They shedding salary? Gonna trade him for peanuts and depth? His first few years in the league he developing a corner 3 game and once he got to the Cavs he stopped shooting it Cavs are mostly disappointed in his performance against the Knicks but yeah I don't really know who they would move him for. Dallas without question could use him but I don't see them wanting to take back Tim Hardaway Jr I would assume they maybe want to go smaller with Mobley at the 5 and Okoro at the 4 and you can throw someone in at the 3 like a THJ or maybe they give Emoni Bates that chance to show why he was a top 5 talent Dallas could, but they also just added Holmes and Lively. Lively is their most talented big, so they need him to get minutes but he wouldn't over Allen so it would be two steps forward and one step back. Cleveland, on the other hand, I can't see trading Allen and getting better in the short term.

Suns need a backup PG in the worst way tho Cavs have thrown out there they are interested in trading Allen and Rubio is hinting he is ready to go back to Spain after this year. I'd call about those two Wonder what the hell Cleveland is looking at on a return for Allen. He's kind of a throwback big. Doesn't have great shooting range, can't guard too many positions. So the Suns traded Cam Payne, a second round pick and money to the Spurs for a future second round pick... San Antonio has been getting good bench players for spare change this offseason... Payne is a really solid backup PG. And Pop will love him. He's kind of an agitator, but not over the top with it like Dray, Smart, Brooks, etc.

I can do with or without it. On one hand, Bonds in his prime (both pre- and post-steroids) was an insanely good player. And if it's ok to let Papi in who used steroids, then it's ok to let Bonds in who also used steroids. On the other hand, no baseball star deserves to be treated like shit than the guy who spent his entire baseball career, even going back to college, treating other people like shit.

Man, I love football but the only thing that keeps my from getting into the NFL is everything I've ever learned about the NFL. We think that the backstage machinations of pro wrestling are wild…I can only imagine what goes on behind the doors in the NFL. What we know about is bad enough, but there’s likely stuff that if it got out we’d never watch football again. NFL is an entire cult of personality. The owners are mostly evil and the figureheads are incompetent. It has a very "Old Vegas" feel to the whole thing of guys who want to avoid their bad things from coming to light by doing worse things. The Dan Snyder/Gruden thing is par for the course.

I'd be up for something like a bi-monthly schedule IF it was included with Max or something like that. I'd go broke trying to keep up with the product if I have to pony up 50 bucks a month on top of maintaining my cable bill. 6 is what I feel like is the best course of action. It's SO hard to do 12 PPVs a year without doing any filler shows. AEW is super stable financially, so what's the upside to overextending yourselves? They have a great TV deal, plenty of money almost frivolously spent on talent and music rights. No need to water down the product further just to jump through yet another corporate hoop. It's not like corporation suggestions haven't killed basically every good thing ever.
