I wish after all these years they'd have an Spider Man film open with him fighting one of his joke villains in the start of the film as an opening act much like James Bond does.

Barry Allen was always written from the start with an "out" of his situation, so really I'm just surprised they kept him away for as long as they did.

Galactus eats the Earth, the show is over.
It's the Silver Surfer cartoon all over again.

Call of the Simpsons (#7G09) 18 Feb 1990.
It's a camping misadventure for the Simpsons. First, the Simpsons get lost in the woods and lose all their camping equipment. Then, Bart and Homer go get help, but get washed down a waterfall, and lose all their clothes. Meanwhile, Maggie meets up with some bears. Then, Homer is mistaken for Bigfoot.

Interesting bit of news
May 2012 biggest month of century for comics market. The comics industry is hitting on all cylinders as it kicks off its summer sales season. The month of May had Free Comic Book Day, the Avengers movie, Marvel's Avengers Vs. X-Men event, DC's release of its first hardcover collections of its relaunch issues, and continued strong sales from Images Walking Dead trades. The result? What appears, in early estimates based on figures released today by Diamond Comic Distributors, to be a $44.7 million month for comics shop orders of comics and graphic novels — which would make it the single largest month in non-inflation-adjusted dollar terms since Diamond began reporting Final Order data in 2003.

Well, the DC solicits came out today, and in September say good bye to Resurrection Man, Voodoo and Captain Atom.
Blue Beetle somehow hangs on.

Holy wow, they're bringing back Amethyst. SWORD OF SORCERY – Writer: Christy Marx. Artist: Aaron Lopresti. Featuring the return of Amethyst, Amy Winston leads a strange life on the road with her mother and resents it. She’s about to learn it’s all been necessary when she discovers she’s the lost princess of Gemworld—and she’s being hunted by her murderous aunt. With a back-up story written by Tony Bedard with art by Jesus Saiz, set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, the monstrous warrior Beowulf is charged with finding and defeating the evil Grendel. DC might overload on the Bat and Super family titles, but I will give them a nod for keeping the other half of their line up just chock full of randomness.

I'm still patiently waiting for a directors cut of Batman Forever. Supposedly it does for Forever what the DC cut of Daredevil did for that movie.
And whatever any says Joel Schumacher is a good director.
