Maybe if he got some charisma he'd be in a better position Doesn't seem to be hold Del Rio back.

So.....still no story about the "Zuko's mom" plot they introduced in the last episode, the dropped for this? Weak. Maybe it'll be a (hopefully animated) movie ala Mask of the Phantasm?

I think it basically boils down to the fact that Triple H was a heel during the Attitude Era whereas Austin, Rock, Taker, and Foley were faces for most of that time. Triple H would probably have been just as big if he had continued his face character that he had in 1998. He was over huge as the leader of DX. Rock first found his place as a heel, and was in fact was at his most recognizable as *the* number one heel of the company as Vince's Corporate Champion. In fact Triple H pretty first started getting into the main event scene as, basically, a Rock expy.

Quite a few indy guys have had success in the WWE. Miz wrestled in the indys before he went to WWE (Wasn't he in Cena's dads promotion?), Sheamus, Drew and Barrett wrestled in the UK indy feds for years, ADR wrestled in the Mexican feds etc Miz wrestled for about two years in one of WWE's developmental territories. Mexican feds are a different beast altogether. They're a bit too large to be classified as 'indies' if you ask me.

I always get a kick out of just about everyone proclaiming that they "always hated Creed". They were HUGE for a few years. They sold a ton of albums. Clearly, someone was buying their albums. (see also: Bizkit, Limp) Sorry, was never a fan of the 'Shitty' genre.

D'Lo should be the Anonymous GM. D'lo should be the Chairman.

not great in the ring, cut weird promos, but no matter where he went he was over. You also don't hear many people complain about working with Sid either.

He's Bret Hart, without the mirror shades and pink. Eventually, fans will get behind him in a big way. I actually kinda see him as more of a Ricky Steamboat.

If it saves us from Orton vs. Christian Rematch #3232342 then I'm all for it.

Also did anyone else notice Wrestlemania is apparently taking place on April Fool's Day?

And for the people saying that the crowds still cheer for him: Yeah, they do. Because he's a beloved legend and they don't have to sit through his godawful commentary for two hours.

DB vs. Jericho would be legendary.
My second vote goes to CM Punk, if only because of that tease from last year. Sadly though it looks like they've got other plans for him.

I know people have been clamoring for it but honestly there's a kind of authenticity to his babyface character that's actually quite endearing.
I hope they develop on this aspect of his character instead of just randomly turning him into another cocky jerk whenever he cashes in.

Not really. Russo'd be beholden to Vince's whims just like all the other writers.

I think a lot of people are forgetting just how huge Foley was during the attitude era. His star has fallen a lot in recent years but I'd argue Foley at his peak was a bigger name in terms of mainstream exposure than Triple H ever has been. Triple H was definitely never in Foley's league in terms of fame and exposure. I mean...the dude's a freaking best-selling author.

Am I the only one who doesn't like all the one leg jokes? Maybe I've become a bit soft. I personally don't get how someone can blow a gasket about Lawler making fun of Vickie's weight in one topic then turn around and make fun of a man's disability in another.

Not unless you're using Creed as an abbreviation of Creedence Clearwater Revival
