Besides the usual "It sells merchandise" spiel, I can think of one other reason they haven't changed it. It's f'n expensive. Consider the thickness of the belt, and the fact that it has all those jewels and stuff on it. You want every cent worth of that belt used before you get rid of it. That's just why I think, anyway. I'd be very surprised if there's a single genuine diamond in that thing. Anywho, I say bring back the Undisputed belt.

As for everyone mad at Mega Man not being included, if the rumor I heard about a Mega Man fan punching Seth Killian was true, you guys don't deserve him. ...I hate the gamer subculture so much.

I wouldn't give 2 s***s. Rey Mysterio would be the champion of nothing. IMO, CM Punk is still the WWE Champion and he'll continue to be until somebody defeats him. By that logic Madusa's still the Women's Division champion.

I'd love to have Miz as champion again, but I'd be okay with Mysterio so long as it didn't last long. Boo f***ing hoo, at least Rey can get crowd reaction that didn't come from a machine, unlike Del Rio. I like you. Honestly I like Del Rio...in the ring. But either him or his script-writers need to give him different material. And the number of people who want to stick a belt on him when he comes out to dead crowds half of the time is annoying.

...And yet I'm still imagining Punk secretly listening to Beach Boys.

It's weird, because a lot of the best young wrestlers are clearly huge hipsters in real life, and are clearly hipsters ABOUT wrestling... they love stuff like naming finishing moves. MCMG are the best example (Shelley is the uber-wrestling-hipster), but I'd say 75% of the indies applies, too. Bryan certainly does. I'd argue that The Rock was kind of a hipster. None that sounds hipster-y at all.

There was always something oddly disturbing about that show. I blame the fan-porn.

they can unify the belts. No. I don't care how "thin" the roster gets. If they unify the belts, all we'll get is Cena/Orton all the time with the occasional Miz/Unsuccessful Heel flavor of the month and no one will ever move up. Unifying the belts is a bad idea. And that's different from today...how?

Wade Barrett is proof positive that that whole 'You can make it in the WWE if you're talented enough and work your ass off' spiel is a bunch of horses***. He's been on the main roster for 1 year. I don't give if he's been on the roster for twenty years what they did to him was f***ing stupid and wasteful.

Well hell, just hire back Scott Steiner and stick him behind the booth. Oh I can smell the "Double Standard much, IWC?" threads coming a mile away. It'd still be stupid, but the other insane shit he'd say behind the booth'd make up for it.

It's better for them to keep him around and on a leash than letting him go and risking him getting back to old form somewhere else. From boring and bland to shrill, annoying, and shamelessly recycling Bobby Heenan's old material?
