I seriously can't stand Rey anymore.
The whole "feud" with Punk has been so ridiculously one sided, in Rey's favor. It's absolutely pathetic.
Punk is easily the hottest act in the WWE right now. And they want to bury it, for whatever reason, by having him lose any and every match against Rey.
Gahh...it's frustrated me so much, i flip the channel each and every time I see Rey.
I know I cant be alone on this.

Yea, the only thing that would make this okay is if it was old Mysterio.
But Post-2007 Mysterio (or whatever year it was he returned from injury at SummerSlam) has been garbage in the ring. Half the time he doesn't even f***ing jump after the 619, he just climbs to the top rope and falls on the guy.

The only good thing that could come out of that is a bald CM Punk with the hobo beard and chest hair

You are not alone. I think there is use for him in the mid-card but he should be nowhere near the title and definitely not killing the push of Punk.

It was an absolute travesty watching Punk lose again AND AGAIN AND AGAIN. I actually LIKED Rey when he came back, after being so out of shape...and then Kane started jobbing to him....every week...for three months...and now, it's the same with Punk.

I thought Rey was great last year, from no way out until his suspension anyway. I couldn't stand him after the Eddiesploitation phase but I like him these days.

I want Punk to win the feud in a mask vs. Hair match and laugh at seeing Mysterio looking like a little kid again! I wonder if he'll wear the devil horns again?

I want Rey to win so the lice in Punk's hair can start their own stable and seek revenge.

I whole-heartedly agree. I remember one time in his feud with Dolph Ziggler where he actually asked to go over Dolph. After that, he never recovered from the burial (even though he is starting to make some headway a bit now). Essentially, Rey destroyed Dolph's chances to develop further. As if Rey wasn't over enough, he want's to go over EVEN MORE. It's disgusting.
With Punk, who is easily one of WWE's readiest talents, it's going to be the same treatment. Rey will go over Punk, ultimately killing his credibility. Thank you SO MUCH, Rey, for destroying their careers.
Rey definitely is an asset to WWE. He's sells merch, he is good in the ring, and he is over like Rover. But what is the WWE going to do when Rey, HHH, Taker, and all the other worn out main-eventer are on the verge of hanging up the boots? They are not going to be here forever, so they are going to have to establish some people soon. You can't just have them constantly going over fresh talent. That will lead to absolutely nothing. But hey, it's the WWE. Their logic is that new talent can never EVER EVER make it as long as the "worn out main eventers" are on the roster.

Except for the Jericho feud, they don't seem to know how to book Mysterio. Either the guy looks like a midget putz or he beats his opponents all the time. Somewhere in between doesn't seem to be an option.

I agree about his finisher, I find it hard to believe that a 170 lb. guy falling on a 220+ lb. guy is a devastating finisher, especially since they kick out of bigger guys splashes. I brought this up before WM that it was becoming one sided & Punk better win at least 1 ppv match or else this will fall into Rey/Kane territory, that's why he's gotta win at ER & I think he probably will, but if Rey wins again & continues to make the whole SES, not just Punk, look bad, then this will fall into that territory.

The reason so many people clamored for him to be moved up the card years ago was because of how amazingly talented he was.
But now, through no real fault of his own of course, he's just not the same guy. The injures have eaten away at what he once was and he's just not really that guy anymore. His size could be overlooked because of the moves he could do to combat larger opponents.
Now, he's more or less a ground based wrestler with a few high spots thrown in. At 5'5 and 170 pounds, that's not going to cut it. There's only so many times people can coincidently trip into position for the 619, yet in non-Mysterio matches, no one ever falls into that position, before it just gets old and stupid.
Rey Mysterio of the 90's and Rey Mysterio of, say, 2002-2005 or 6 in WWE did deserve to be elevated up the card. He could go and he was damn good.
Rey Mysterio of 2010, 1) shouldn't be wrestling anymore because of the shape he's in physically, and 2) should not be featured at such a high level at this point. He just doesn't have what he used to.

What happened during the Kane feud? Was it that one-sided?

Personally, I can't STAND the 619. It's a really contrived, unimpactful move. It should be a transitional move...at BEST.
