Yes, Sandow lost. But He came out to a surprisingly good reaction (probably because he's an enemy of Cena) and during the match he was made to look like a million bucks. Sucks he lost, but dammit he came out of that segment strong regardless.

Absolutely. There was no burial or anything there at all.

He also came out looking f***ing awesome in that match with Sheamus. I think King or someone said it best "Sandow has arrived"

Well I don't know if I can agree with that.
Though at the same time, I don't care either way, as I never really liked Sandow.

He assaulted his injured arm for 5 minutes brutally with weapons before the match, then lost. That didn't make him look good, at all. I don't see it leading to a renewed push or anything either, just wrestling Ziggler and Kofi, win some lose some.
If he just said "you're hurt!" and cashed in and they had that match, without the pre-match beatdown, I'd feel differently. But that pre-match beatdown happened, and it was very convincing. They laid "Cena's amazing!!!!" on way too thick, as usual. Men have 4 limbs, and he couldn't use one of them. Pretty damn big disadvantage to overcome.

Yep, beating the piss out of a guy who was already injured, and then not being able to put him away when minutes earlier they had the doc making sure he could continue; then injured one armed man beats you clean as a whistle...
Actually, makes a guy look pretty crappy.

Pstt, no way. The fact that people are seriously saying that Sandow got put over strong by this really emphasizes just how low our expectations are when it comes to people outside of a certain group facing Cena. I'm actually in favor of what happened tonight but never in a million years would I say that Sandow got put over strong. He looked like trash.
He got a great reaction because he was going against Cena. In what realm does this help his credibility going forward? He lost to an injured man that he jumped before the match (including a goddamn steel chair shot). Sandow is lower-card fodder.

Yeah, a one armed Cena put over Sandow over and yet still won.
Thereby saying Sandow would have no chance in hell against a healthy Cena.
So does it really put over Sandow in hindsight?

He went to the limit with Cena, one arm or not. It wasn't a squash match, and it isn't a burial. He looked tough, got in a great amount of offense and now there is a place to take his character.

Damien Snadow could give Rice Flair a run for his money.

Cena was already injured, had a big match the night before, and was beaten with the briefcase before the match even started, and would have beaten Sandow several times over before he actually did if not for the arm. That match made Sandow look horrible.

I think Sandow has demonstrated, both in the past and especially tonight, that he has the sort of talent and presence that will make it believable if/when WWE chooses to push him as a star, regardless of how much he's been booked to look like an inept clod in the past.
And tonight, he certainly looked like an inept clod.

No joke on nothing, I enjoy discussion but...I'm astounded. Think about what some of you are saying right now. Sandow faced a man with ONE GOOD ARM THAT HE SNEAK ATTACKED...AND LOST. Now, I don't know about you guys but where I'm from, if I'm facing a guy with one good arm, the expectation is that I win the f***ing fight. If I lose, people aren't gonna say, "Boy, that Magiconz sure is a trooper for putting up such a good fight!" They're gonna be saying, "Boy, that Magiconz sure is a pussy." Rightfully so because I lost to a man that was at a serious disadvantage!

Sandow looked like utter garbage tonight. It was a competitive match only by virtue of the fact that Cena only had one movable/usable arm, and even with that, Sandow still lost clean as a sheet. I'm not even a big Sandow fan but, between tonight and last night, it's like WWE is going into overdrive with a return to insufferable Cena booking. Guess they needed to make up for that Payback-Summerslam period where he was almost interesting.

I'll repost what I said before
I actually don't hate it.
A) It was a great match, so Sandow will always have that on his resume.
B) This could lead to some interesting character progression. Everybody can relate to messing up on something easy, like making an error that cost your team a win, missing an easy layup etc, so he can be humbled by this and become a babyface. Or Sandow can go insane for losing and admitting he was to soft and decides to f*** up people and channel his inner aggresionzz
I think this will do more more for him than a heatless title reign.

Beats on an and potentially reinjures Cena after destroying him for 5+ min.
Cena has 1 arm
Near the end looks like Cenas knee buckles or something making commentators assume now Cena is on 1 leg
so add not only does Cena have 1 arm but at this point has 1 leg
And Sandow some still loses
That Sandow is definetly a world champion.
