We are trying to catch up on any of the Marvel movies that we haven't seen yet. Today we got Iron Man 2 from the library and when we finished watching it, we all looked at each other and said, "I think we saw that before."
I guess that means it was a fairly forgettable movie.

I watched some Netflix movie called How It Ends last night. It was okay. I like seeing the World fall apart. But I drank a lot while watching it and blacked out at the end, missing ten or fifteen minutes and some key stuff.
6/10
The night before I watched Hardcore Henry and I really enjoyed it. I really loved the Jimmy character(s).

They finally released the Incredibles 2 over here because surprisingly Disney have more faith in the England team than the English, whilst the plotline seemed very obvious from about 20 minutes in I found it a lot funnier than the original especially Jack Jack who has become one of my favourite Pixar characters.

They say go: {Spoiler}*Captain America *Iron Man *The Incredible Hulk *Iron Man 2 *Thor *The Avengers *Iron Man 3 *Thor 2 *Captain America 2 *Guardians of the Galaxy *Guardians of the Galaxy 2 *The Avengers 2 *Ant-Man *Captain America 3 *Doctor Strange *Spider-Man Homecoming *Thor 3 *Black Panther *The Avengers 3 *Ant-Man 2 *Captain Marvel *The Avengers 4

Daylight's End wasn't too bad. It had some bad acting, cheesy CGI, very little character development (mostly because there were too many characters to have any get any real development) and a grammatically incorrect title but it was some good zombie fun.

Finally watched Black Panther & Coco on Netflix because our Cockblockers DVD wouldn't work.
BP: Not underwhelming like I feared, but not as good as all the hype the movie has gotten. Probably the most overrated flick since JW. Movie gets really good when Killmongers plan kicks in. That, the crux of the story, is brilliant and complex. In fact I'd argue it's one of the few films hurt by being "Marvel-ized". That could be a masterpiece of a film if it wasn't fishing on being a popcorn, pew pew flick...but then it wouldn't have made all the moneys so..Eh. Far from Marvels worse. Not near it's best. And people who think it's Oscar Best Film worthy befuddle me. Also graphics gave me DareDevil flashbacks.
Coco: Gotta say I was reluctant to to watch this but it's a solid ass movie. Pacing is great and moves briskly along, enough for kids, enough for adults, genuine and light hearted humor and the dramatic beats f***ing hit. They also definitely get a lot of Hispanic culture right...the good and the bad to the point where I went on a tirade from my own personal life, but kudos to the movie for accurately capturing a lot of shit right. Really solid animated flick.

I saw "The Nun" last night. There were some impressive sequences and good cinematography. But it's a really basic story, and the jump scares are more funny than frightening.

Final Score - Batista's new movie, while it is nothing original I found it enjoyable.

Just watched "Upgrade". Great movie, high recommendation for people who dig action. My elevator pitch for anyone seeing this would be "Imagine a mix of RoboCop and John Wick." Minor complaint would be that the camera during action scenes tends to 'lock' onto the main character, and that makes things around him a little harder to see (you see it in the trailer when he goes from lying on his back to standing up and the camera follows him up). Other than that, great fun.
