I'm trying to teach my children the joy of watching crap movies. In that spirit, yesterday we watched....
Hercules in New York.
Yup. Still a terrible movie. It could have been worse though. At least it was the version with Arnold's actual voice (heavy Austrian accent and all) instead of the awful dubbed version.

I finally watched Singing in the Rain. One of the major classics I've never gotten around to watching. Definitely a great film! I'm a sucker for movies about movies (see also The Artist)
Also watched the 2017 version of The Orient Express, directed by Kenneth Brannagh. Brannagh was wonderful as Poirot, and the absurdly stacked ensemble cast did not disappoint. Some stunning cinematography here, with wonderful long takes up and down the train.

My friend from the UK made a movie and it is available on Amazon Prime in the UK and US. It's called Deny Everything, and it's about a man whose friend comes to him with a dead body asking for help to get rid of it. I finally watched Singing in the Rain. One of the major classics I've never gotten around to watching. Definitely a great film! I watched that in college for a film studies class. A great movie.

first time EVER i watched TALE OF TALES three days in a row, never did this with a movie ever before get this (sunday) first time i was only really half watching it and thought it was rubbish and slow, until the last hour or so, but i decided to give it another go (monday) second time i sat down to see it proper, and started noticing stuff that i didn't catch, and was utterly entranced with it! (tuesday) watched it split this time, still gorgeous and wondrous from being a tragic waste of my time to a movie i want to BUY, along with the original stories THE PENTAMERONE! marvelous

Last night was movie night
Bumblebee was really good. The scenes on Cybertron were insane awesome and made the movie. It was so cool to see everyone with G1 designs and not that Micheal Bay shit. I marked seeing Wheeljack and Soundwave, plus Soundwaves voice. Not to mention Optimus Prime kicking ass and being BAE. The rest of the movie was good. Some stupid humour, some nice humour. Juan Cena was just kinda there. Far and away the best Transformers live action movie. 8/10
Then I watched Bird Box. It was just okay. Netflix original movies still look and feel cheap to me. 5/10
After that was one called A Quite Place. I really liked that one. Good performances from all the cast. It dawned on me midway that I watched an invasion movie where survivors were unable to use their sight followed by an invasion movie where the survivors were unable to make sounds. 7.5/10
I finished up with Lucio Fulcis House by the Cemetery. It was pretty horrible but also awesome. The writing was so terrible and it was boring. The kids voice was so ridiculous. But it looked and felt awesome. The last ten or twenty minutes was really good. 7/10
