Was she a HHH signing? Agree with others that it's hard to understand why a Japanese wrestler would sign on with WWE at this point. As long as Bruce Prichard has been around, I bet he's never watched one Japanese match in his life and has no idea how over these people are outside of his myopic bubble.

Yes she was someone HHH and Regal were very very keen on signing and had been after her for a few years if I remember and when she finally debuted she was treated a big time important deal initially.

She’s still positive. I still believe. She’s still the best wrestler they have. There are still stories and matches to be had, I’m being sickening optimistic lol I hope Sarray starts saying "Fine speech" to any heel who talks too long in a promo against her.

Dave and Bryan talked about it on Observer Radio last night, but Dave mentioned from what he understands, the loss to Stratton is meant to send a message that women like Sarray have no future in the company basically. That management is giving up on her, and they are pushing for fans to do the same. And that while they PROBABLY won't cut her, they likely won't renew her contract because she doesn't fit what Bruce and Vince want these days which is a tall, athletic, good looking woman. Which is one of the reasons why Io Shirai isn't on the callup list either, because apparently she doesn't tick any of these arbitrary new boxes either, and why she took the pin at Stand and Deliver. I remember there also being chatter that Bruce and Vince were more impressed with Raquel than they were with Io when they had their dark match together, despite the audience being firmly on the side of Io.
We are firmly on our way back to looks trumping actual skill in the ring or charisma it seems.

You have WWE actively burying Japanese talents and basically having zero interest in doing anything with them at all. While AEW is announcing the NJPW supershow. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if AEW was more popular in Japan than WWE is right now.

If this company has any decency left whatsoever then they need to let Io and Sarray go ASAP as if indeed the above is correct then both will never be used well and both will be pretty much jobbers for the rest of their careers when in fact they are 2 of the very best women's wrestlers in the world.

Yea they are not going to just cut Io and Sarray because despite their absoloute f***ing brainless direction they know what they bring to the table and they absoloutley do not want them going to the rival company.
But set the clock now because one company is about to benefit immensely by landing either or both those women.

Like mentioned above, they aren't going to cut either of them because they know Io and Sarray will bring value to other companies and their women's divisions. Especially Io, who is an actual ratings draw according to metrics. But Vince and Bruce would rather go down the route of signing a bunch of former athletes and build the company around them. Even if those athletes fail. Which 99% of them do. It's even more baffling when you realize that Sasha, Bayley, and Charlotte have all said Io is pretty much the pinnacle of women's wrestling and how there is so much people can learn from her. But instead of building the division around her, they are opting to feed her to Mandy and (probably when she returns) a bunch of NXT 2.0 talents whose ceiling will be the 24/7 title picture when WWE realizes that they aren't getting over with audiences. There's a reason why NXT 2.0 has not even touched the highest point of NXT Black and Gold. And it has to do with the constant pandering to horny adults and pushing people who clearly aren't ready, along with a bunch of new generation level gimmicks (which is a bad thing). Like I'm looking at the NXT 2.0 talents, and compared to the Black and Gold brand stars, I can't see any of their gimmicks getting over. I mean look at Bron Breakker. The dude won the NXT Championship back on RAW to absolute silence. And poor Sarray isn't even going to get a chance to break out, because she doesn't fit what Vince and Bruce find attractive, nor is she tall and athletic looking. It doesn't help that she has diva stan twitter constantly sending her homophobic remarks, threats, and just constantly making her life miserable to the point of where she rarely posts on social media anymore.

Sarray will likely be used to put over green as grass rookies repeatedly.

They don't give a f***, the new womens division for WWE is about going back a decade, they want Tiffany Strattons etc. They're also going to make their handful of good main roster women carry these green workers because Bruce and Vince want to have sex with them...that dynamic alone may lead to people like Bayley and Sasha not wanting to be there anymore.

Wondering now what someone else cut from similar cloth to Sarray and Io as in being a darn good wrestler, I'd said equally athletic and good looking woman to them but not a giantess.

Someone in WWE really wants snu snu.
Bianca Rhea Raquel Lash Tiffany Nikkita
The pattern has become really really obvious and while they may throw in a cora jade or Rox C to throw off the pattern those women aint getting past the glass ceiling on the main roster.

I’m glad you put “cool her off” in quote marks, because let’s be honest, anything WWE booking does to anyone only hurts them while they’re in the WWE system. Once they’re out of it, you’d be surprised at how few fans of other promotions and promoters are like “That woman that lost to so-and-so? That guy who got the silly nickname? Eww, no thanks!”. There might be ratings stats or something that contradict it, but the general gist is, should Io Shirai and/or Sarray be out of the WWE system sooner rather than later, they’ll be perfectly fine.

Both those women will more than just fine because I look at Toni Storm and I am not gonna say it is some gigantic leap of improvement but she already looks and performs way better than she did in her entire WWE run. And if getting out of the WWE system did that for her just imagine what Io and Sarray not having to hold back is gonna do for them especially to eyes that only know their WWE work.

Well I mean alarm bells should have been going off the moment that Breakker won back the NXT title on the RAW after Wrestlemania (where they tend to have the hottest crowds) to deafening silence. That should tell you right there that 2.0 is failing. Not to mention the ratings have been pretty abysmal compared to Black and Gold. And while NXT 2.0 has some okay characters, you can't honestly look at any of the new 2.0 acts and say they are future world champions right now either. Same goes for the NXT 2.0 women.

I haven't seen enough of Sarray to make a decision one way or another.... but Io Shirai is really, really good. I can't believe they aren't at least going to put her on TV and at least "waste" her talents because at least the fans like her. I just don't get it (I do.... but just go with me).
