Explains some of his promos lately coming off more like "this could be the last one". Like he probably knew he was f***ed up, but not just HOW f***ed up.

Yeah I think this is big enough to be in it's own thread sadly. This is sad. He said indefinitely and sure, he will probably return but if he never decides to then regardless I've enjoyed the memories. He's a generational talent.

This had to be a sudden thing then, since they announced the Tag Title match on Wednesday. Wonder how they pivot now? Obviously, Kenny's health is the most important thing right now.

I wonder if painkillers or extreme pain were the reason why he sounded so distant and out of it during that promo last Wednesday. I don’t think he drinks or gets high so it was all the more strange when I saw it.
Edge, Christian, Danielson, HBK they’ve all come back stronger after indefinite multi year breaks and I’m sure this will be the same.

He was off to a degree that did not seem within his range, and either a painkiller high or persistent pain would explain it. |
