What a waste. Well he might as well have left if they had no plans of using him.

Please, please sign with WWE Jay. This. I think he has enough charisma to get over, and he's great in the ring.

Please, please sign with WWE Jay. I'm honestly conflicted as to how they'd handle Jay Lethal in WWE. On the one hand, they gave CM Punk the ball and let him run with it as far as he could, they wanted to push Monty Brown to the moon, and they (arguably) gave Daniel Bryan a fair shake after necktie-gate was over and done with. However, CM Punk had Paul Heyman pushing for him, the Alpha Male had his size, and Bryan had Cena and who knows how many others inside and outside the company pushing for him. Which means that we may see another Kaval episode, or worse, another Wildcat episode. Not to mention ROH guys are generally given a FAR better chance than perceived-TNA guys. As much as I'd love to see Lethal in WWE, I wouldn't jump the gun just yet. I'll wait and see how they handle Tyler Black and Consequences Creed before I have full faith in Lethal crossing the line (pun very much intended).

Raise your hand if you're surprised....thought so.
Not the biggest Lethal fan but, their were so many blown chances with him it's sad.

Gunner isn't the person to mention since the guy has talent <_<
But yeah I'm pissed about this too. And it looked like he was getting a good push for awhile but TNA suffers from flavor of the month syndrome yet again.

I am disgusted. TNA just wasted him.

Color me shocked. TNA dropped the ball with someone who was over and dependable in the ring. Considering how TNA gave his a big push and then went cold turkey, I'm surprised he lasted this long. I guess he wasn't real enough for them. Lethal is going to have to rehab his career so an extended stint with ROH or Japan just might be the cure. It worked for Daniels.

Sounds like a roster spot is open for Hurricane Helms.

Sounds like a roster spot is open for Hurricane Helms. I doubt it as long as Velvet is there. That really is a shame. They have been giving Jay the "Yo-Yo" push for years now. I thought they were finally going to make him a big star last year but once again they dropped the ball with him. I wouldn't mind if he did go to the WWE but I'm not sure how they would handle him. Either way I wish him in luck in whatever he decides to do. I have a feeling Jay Lethal is the first of many who may leave TNA this year.

At least if he quits wrestling he can say to his grand-children he was in a ring with Flair.

And they were JUST to give him another huge push too!
(then completely forget about him for a month)
I hope he has feelers out for the WWE. I'm sure he could do well.

Personally I never really saw the big deal in Lethal. He was a very good wrestler and good at imitations... but take away the imitations and he's a pretty bland guy

I really liked the guy, particularly as Black Machismo, but he's young, I think he has a lot of options open to him if his luck turns around.
He could always come back for Madison Rayne to pin him for no reason.

I'm disappointed with TNA. I have fewer and fewer reasons to tune in. Between this, the depush of Joe, the destruction of Pope, the over-pushing over Stone Cold Ken Anderson, MOAR IMMORTAL!, and the unexplained disappearance of Wolfe, I'm losing my onterest.
