What are some good WWE myths, urban legends and what are the origins of those myths. I started thinking about this today while watching the HHH DVD and remembering the myth of Macho Man banging Stephanie when she was in her teens or something like that. Whats the story behind that myth and where did it start.. Feel Free to post your favorite wrestling related myths..

Why are they Dolph Zigglering Daniel Bryan It feels more like they're "Booker T"-ing him with all the "Good little technician", "Cruiserweight Title", etc. comments. But Booker T was the 5 time, 5 time, 5, time world champ... And GI Bro... They are even making it appear that Bryan can get the upperhand at all..

Im intrigued still, but I thought Bryan should get the upperhand at some point. The Yescalade wasn't enough for me.

God I really wish there was a power meter bar on top of their heads or something.. It really took me out of the match, I know Orton was poised to win.. But its the same move when it boils down to it.

So during the match Rhodes put his finisher on Orton, it appears to be variations of the same move.. Why is the RKO able to put a guy away for a 3 count while the CR couldn't get the job done?

Okie-dokie, time to chime in and put some people on blast. On the idea that Miz isn't credible-looking: I don't know what else this guy has to do in order to convince you people that he's not only a wrestler, but a wrestler who's been at it for 12 years now. Yeah, he was a doofus back in 2006, but the entire point of that run was to make him as aggravating as possible so that whoever finally shut him up would look better in the process. When it came time for him to actually start having lengthy matches on ECW, where he was featured prominently, he toned down the fauxhawk, improved his ring gear and overall look, and proved himself a competitor. I know some people like to pretend that Miz was treated as more important than Morrison, but it was the exact opposite most of the time (like Morrison blasting HBK with the Superkick a few times while Miz crawled over for the pin in a daze because he'd be owned most of the matches). Right now he's a solid 230 with a toned, cut figure and a decorated champion with only the WHC missing from his resume. He's toned down the neckbreakers and now has a rather solid repetoire of attacks, and unlike pretty much all of the other faces in the company, he keeps the crowd involved during rest periods. I'd say he has above-average psychology, so long as he's given the chance to show it. Someone on Shoryuken said his movelist resumes an early 90s WCW highflyer like Brad Armstrong or Ricky Morton. As long as you have that fundamentally sound style down, you'll always be a valued member of the company. Of course, you'll likely be valued as a JTTS, but still value. On him being douchey: At this point I'm beginning to think this is more the pre-conceived notion than what he actually does in the ring. The only time for sure he was a douchebag was from 2006-2009, where the elitist frat boy gimmick was in full effect with the In Crowd. Since he made the switch to trunks, his character doesn't even closely resemble the one that debuted on WWE TV in 2006. The fauxhawk was toned down further, and eventually ditched completely. Yes, he's still a smug asshole, but nowhere near to the point of Cena. If the Bieln look wasn't enough for you guys, I'm starting to think that the Miz could come out in a Hannya mask, spew mist, and attack people with screw drivers, and you guys would still accuse him of being a douchebag. On him being a bad worker: Miz has been involved in some incredible singles matches since at least 2007 (and I've searched high and low for the match he had with Matt Hardy about a month before he got drafted to ECW, the match that was considered the turning point to how the Miz would be booked in the ring). In general, he hasn't had a flat out BAD match in a long, long time. I would go on to say that Miz is right now Top 15 workrate on the entire WWE roster, and I really think he's a main event feud away from getting the Five Star badge. My favorite part is someone here saying that he has bad psychology, when he now has a finisher that he bases HIS ENTIRE OFFENSE AROUND. Kneebreakers, Shoulder Legbreakers, Low Dropkicks...and there are people who say that he never works over the leg? But wait! He's not worthy of that finisher? It's too forced for him to have it? If he started using the Trailer Hitch instead, would we get the same complaints? Honestly, this dude has been having naysayers all around him since the moment he debuted on WWE TV. The fact that he's still around after all this time shows that barring some unforseen injury or a major screw-up like a Wellness (and if he's dodged it for this long even after bulking up, he's probably in the clear), this guy isn't going anywhere. The concussion history and zero days off are probably slowing him down right now, but he's not going anywhere anytime soon. I don't post here often but felt like chiming in.. There isn't any essay that you could type that would change the fact that I have never, and will never be a fan of the Miz.. I will never believe him as a wrestler, and will never accept him as serious contender in the ring.. His title reign was one of the most forced things i have witnessed outside of the constant shoving of Del Rio as champion down our throats. I have been glad they have had him scaled back, and making him do commentary or other things. He is a much better manager type to me, or a spokesperson for the WWE.. The Miz annoys the shit out of me and has been one of the least likable people I've seen the WWE try to get over with full force since I started watching wrestling in the 80's.

I would love to see 10 minutes every week dedicated to the "Believers in Bray Wyatt" where Bray Wyatt comes on and preaches about his saving grace in a old church revival style. Where a fake hotline flashes on screen that you can call to speak and donate and be saved. At the end of he segment The Wyatt family comes out and beats the devil out of Alex Riley..
Bray Wyatt will never need a belt because he has all the riches in the world through his family.,

tl:dr version - Fandango doesn't use lube and Rowan is sticking with the sheep. Luke Harper was a beast in the ring to add.

Sounds Iike a fun show. Damn, if your wife is 4' 11'', how tall is Cody? I'm 5'9 on a good day Cody had to have been 6'0 maybe.. Here is a blurry ass picture one of the national guard guys took of me and Cody imgur.com/ZXcLXF7

But the one question I'm dying to know the answer to and that you diddn't answer................ Did you cheer the heels and boo the faces? I honestly cheered for everyone.. I thought it was my mission to play both sides of my fandom. I think the only person I booed was Jinder.

The card was as follows (1) Tons of Funk def. Team Rhodes Scholars (2) Justin Gabriel def. Jinder Mahal (3) A Funkadactyl def. A Bella Twin (4) Street Fight Dean Ambrose def. R-Truth (5) Team Hell No def. Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins. The match ended in DQ with Dean Ambrose interfering. (6) Luke Harper (of the Wyatt Family) def. Alex Riley (7) Zack Ryder def. Drew McIntyre (8) WWE Championship Tables Match John Cena (c) def. Ryback Before the event I got to meet Cody Rhodes at the mall as he was doing an autograph signing for free brought to us in part by the National Guard. When I got to the line there was only 4 people ahead of me. He said that the line was out the door only an hour before. He was a great guy to talk to and very humble. He noticed my wife's new tattoo and told us that Fandango just got a new tattoo on his leg of Johnny Cash and hasn't taken care of it all. He said "Fandango just thinks that wearing his tights will keep it from ruin, but he refuses to put any lubricant on it" and "All the guys in the back keep telling him he is going to screw it up". Then he told us another story about how when he would wrestle Rey Mysterio they would go out of their way to protect his new tattoos in the ring and would always cover them before the match and after.. My wife got us floor seats, The Shield side. I was super excited and had no clue what to expect. During the event I really had no clue what was going to happen because they obviously changed up the card some from previous recent house shows. My wife has never been to an event ever, so it was an experience for her as well. I have been to PPVs, House, and Tapings in the brand split, and attitude eras. The first thing that I noticed was the family atmosphere. There were so many kids it was insane. All wearing John Cena gear, it reminded me of my obsession with Hogan in the late 80's and early 90's. The kids would boo the heels, and cheer the good guys. Parents would go out of their way to make sure the kids could see. A lot of times a dad would put the kid on his shoulders making it impossible for us to see. Or you would have a kid stand on his seat holding up his sign. It was awesome and sucked all at the same time. It was fun to see the passion in these kids eyes, but being unable to see the action in the ring was horrible especially for my wife who is 4'11. The event staff tried to get people to sit down, but by the the main event they just gave up. When Cena came out kids rushed the front row of the floor, to cheer, and take pictures. It reminded me of that rush to the front of the stage during a music festival when your favorite band is about to come on. The kids rushed to the front row and stayed their the whole match.. I yelled "Cena Sucks" at the appropriate time, and one 7 year old next to me told me to "Suck It!" and noticed my Punk shirt and explained he was a Rock fan. I said "Me Too", to squash this awkward interaction with the young fan. The matches were better than I thought they would be, a lot of crowd interactions from the wrestlers.. Tensai (who I saw a long time ago as Prince Alber) looks like an absolute beast live, I didn't realize that Tensai's nickname was "Sweet T", the crowd chanted this through out the opening match( I imagine the commentators say it during his matches on TV and I never catch it). Ryback was huge, and hugely over as well. Daniel Bryan was the star of the night in my eyes, he went out of his way to put on a top notch match, him and Kane even pulled off a double choke slam, it looked like the Hurricane Helms chokeslam. The Shield was amazing live. I have followed Ambrose, and Rollin's careers so it was great to finally see them in person. It was great to see Bray Wyatt twice in one night. He came out and beat up Justin Gabriel at the end of the match, and then came out later and acted as manager. I felt like the only person on the floor who was excited about seeing him. He and the family put on a great show live, with the music, sheep's mask, and the promo it was so creepy, but I loved every minute of it. It gave me goose bumps in that Undertaker entrance type of way. Vicki came out for the divas match, and she sounded so much like Roseanne it was awesome. I laughed my ass off at the hate that spewed from Mobile, AL. They did a Paul Bearer tribute with his son or brother at ringside. The crowd as expected went insane for Cena, and he put on a great show. The table match was pretty much the same one we saw at PayBack. You could tell he put everything in that match and enjoyed the love from the crowd. You can see it in Cena's face that he loves his job, and will never quit as long as he can almost like the Terminator's undying love and protection for John Connor.. All in all, the family atmosphere has shaped this product so much, it was a change from my last times at WWE events. I think that my last event featured Ric Flair and Jeff Hardy, so this was a welcoming change. I don't think I would get floor seats again unless it was front row. I was disappointed I couldn't see Ziggler, Punk, Curtis Axel, Mark Henry, Antonio Cesaro, and Roddy Piper (although I know Piper wouldn't be there in a million years, he is my personal favorite).. I was even more surprised that Alex Riley is still with the company and walked away a bigger RyBack fan. Here's two pictures from the day.. I couldn't get anymore because I use a potato as a phone and I didn't want to be that guy who watches the whole show through his camera lens. imgur.com/a/NMzLj

It's been about 7 years since I went to a WWE event and my wife bought me floor seats to the house show in Mobile on Friday.. What should I expect? They've been advertising the Ryback vs Cena tables match locally and I really wish CM Punk and Bray Wyatt would show up..
I think it's going to be the same card they've been running for a month now. It's also my wife's first show ever!!!
Any advice? How much Is merch? Can I cheer for everyone?
How are 7th row floor seats The Shield side?
