SWAGGERMANIA IS RUNNING WILD! Anybody else notice that in the last week, every wrestling program on national TV went up in ratings? It happens every year... Two months before Wrestlemania.. ratings start getting higher... and then two months later they're back down.

Why does everything need a swerve? Why can't we just have an angle that has a nice, good old resolution for once when someone beats someone else.
And Sting has to go back to being a face. I will credit TNA as giving Sting his best heel performance ever, but the man is just too hard for most people not to cheer for.

One of those dates are not like the other... New York - Makes sense. Wrestlemania weekend - Again, makes sense. Pittsburgh - Um... kay... If they got him for the weekend, why not use him for the weekend? um, i'm confused with your statement. I guess he hates Pittsburg?

The DA was were I first saw Steve Austin. Which lead me to wonder what the hell touch either company so long to give him a push. That was 1992 and he didn't hit it big until 1997. And really WWE only gave him a push because they had to, the intial Ringmaster gimmick was going to go anywhere. He had everything going for him for years and I wish he would have had his big run prior to his knee and neck injuries limiting his mobilty and abilities in the ring. I loved the Ringmaster gimmick and its leading to the exodus of Ted Dibiase from the WWF. Granted. I was 10 or 11.

Yeah, he definitely has had one or two retirement shows (Border City Wrestling had one) and probably one with NYWC too.
That being said, I marked out huge for Whipwreck back in the day. His appearance at ONS was mone of my personal highlights.

Kind of sounds like a mash up of the Dungeon of Doom and the nWo.

I'm a sucker for resolution to an angle. If you're gonna rip off the Liz/Savage angle.. might as well finish it. Except nobody introduce Liz to anyone parodying Lex Lugar.

I'd buy him in the main event over Joe and AJ, because he's got an awesome look and presence. Ah... if only LAX was pushed as a stable and not a tag team with Hernandez.. I'd really get down for some Hernandez main eventing with the LAX stable backup...

Not an infomercial, but occasionally I listen to the Baltimore rock station (I live in DC). I've definitely heard Van Hammer doing strip club ads.

Vince Russo is tied to a pole on the entrance ramp. Every fan, TNA employee, wrestler, and announcer who ever felt wronged by Vince Russo for any reason can kick him in the nuts whenever they please. I would offer Jim Ross the job of randomly showing up for kicking Russo in the nuts for cheap pops.
In reality (well I'd probably do that anyways).. I'd probably have Sting throw Angle out of the Mafia with Sting becoming the more corrupt Godfather role of the group more and more. I'd bring back Daniels to play the foil to the Sting much like Sting played to Hogan during the nWo. Daniels defeats the Mafia in a match that disbands the Mafia and retires Sting. With the Mafia disbanded, Styles and Joe both ask for a title shot. Angle and Daniels feud for awhile over the belt.
On the mid card, I'd go back to the pre-Russo LAX and make them bitter towards the US for immigration law/their treatment/etc.. I'd add another low card wrestlers and then a few lackeys for beefing up the gang numbers. Hernandez would be eventually be pushed to the midcard to feud with Daniels/Joe/Styles, however, in a very Horseman'ish way.. LAX would do whatever it takes to get Hernandez the title or any titles for that matter.
And I'd have Cornette manage any of the X-Division guys that need help on the promo side.

I don't think this is a Russo thing. He doesn't book the Knockouts stuff does he? I picture Russo's involvement with TNA as a see-saw... Everytime something gets good and hot... he puts his input behind it and runs over to the side that's high... the more he gets involved, the lower it sinks.. however, whatever he took his hands off of... gets higher. When Russo is finally let go of.. Cornette needs to be given a microphone for 30 minutes to explain his hatred of Russo.. and anything else he feels like he needs to say.

The Dudleys, Benoit, Guerrero and Van Dam would be my picks. Benoit surely has the most mainstream name recognition though... for the wrong reasons.

God, I really wish it was revealed Rudy Charles or Dutch Mantell booked this so everyone can shut up about Russo every damn time any angle happens. Well, Russo has a history of bad parody storylines... so.. And it's not any angle.. just any angle that is extremely dumb or involves a pole.

The damn election was FOUR MONTHS AGO. I haven't heard any interesting news about Sarah Palin since THREE MONTHS AND FIVE DAYS AGO. I knew that Russo was bad, but could someone please tell him what day it is? Get him a day planner or something?! Maybe around Juneish they'll find pictures of Shark Boy toking from a bong, ooooh, cutting edge and up-to-date referencing!Holy crap, Law & Order isn't even this late with their ripped-from-the-headlines stories! It can't be Russo's fault. Russo has never put a stupid parody of somebody on air and let it go on way too long... Oh wait... Yeah. I can't blame Russo entirely though. Jarrett is still probably so grateful to Russo for being the only person who saw him as a Main Eventer.. that he will let him do whatever he wants. I miss D'Amore's booking.

It's Austin... The match would last about five minutes.. some punches, a stomp, a few middle few fingers... and a Stunner. Followed by a huge beer drinking session with a big old "Thank you Steve" chant.
