It also was a rehash if everything Austin and Bret have talked about on Austin’s podcast or the episode they did of Edge and Christian’s podcast where they discussed the Mania 13 match.

I don’t think Flair vs Windham from Battle of the Belts 2 is there.

There was that Kid Cam segment on Nitro that included Lex Luger making fun of the lines he was saying and the production crew calling cut.

Wasn't it in a junkyard? And the winner had to escape the junkyard? Honestly, this and the Punjabi Prison would be fun in the video games. The junkyard was one of the many reasons why Russo needed a filter. The junkyard invitational was several months Pre-Russo.

In terms of who had the worst segment, Lita. In terms of kayfabe, the Spirit Squad probably had it the roughest, being trapped for weeks in a box in the questionable hands of OPS, but being I always thought being mailed back to OVW was a great gag. I always thought they should have put TNA instead of OVW. Would have been a far worse fate.

The February 7, 2000 Nitro is infuriating on several levels. Below are my live notes. 2. Scott Steiner cuts a promo going off on Ric Flair and says that when Flair came out on TV the week before, everyone changed the channel to Raw to watch Austin. Austin had been off TV for like 3 months at this point. Isn't this the promo that Scott Steiner went completely off script to do, and got suspended from WCW with paid leave as a result? Yes it was.

What did Ronda say after “damn the man and screw the woo”? For the life of me I couldn’t understand her.

Ronda should've put Steph in the armbar until she reinstated Becky. But what would have made sense and been entertaining. Can’t have that.

Actually, Cena would face Rey after Rey just had a 20 minute match.

Sting’s two best Nitro matches were probably against DDP, strange enough.

Why can’t Meltzer just admit that he no flipping idea what’s going on? Well this one thing could happen but it might not but then It might because plans can change but that wasn’t the plan as of this morning but you never know.

In retrospect the build to the rematch at Halloween Havoc 1998 was much superior. I mean where was Horace in 1990? Not even there. Did Brutus Beefcake get kidnapped in 1990? Not even!

The triple threat at Starrcade ‘98. The Rey/Kidman vs Eddie/Juvy the night after on Nitro was great also.
